"It's possible to build a proper fence to keep un wanted animals out"

Yea right. lmao

It's called reason. Physical object cannot move through physical object. There may be logistics issues, but the overriding principle is sound. If I put a ten-foot tall concrete wall around a property, a one-foot-tall animal with stubby legs is not getting over it.

Many animals come in via water not land. You cannot block the waterways in Florida.

I had assumed that anyone who suggested a wall for around the property were speaking on a wall that would go through the water as well, at the same height as the land portions but sunk down to half a foot or so under the bottom of the water. Of course, this might not be monetarily sound, but as I said, I'm not speaking on feasibility but on physical possibility. People were starting to talk like it was physically impossible to keep an animal out with a solid barrier, and insulting the intelligence of those who even dreamt of the idea.

Really. Squirel.

Well, a squirrel's legs are stubby compared to other animals, but not relative to the squirrel's size.

By the by, on the subject of this certain alligator, I thought that the policy was that Disney, if they spotted an alligator in guest areas, captured it, took it out to the gates, and dumped it outside.

Over the years we have seen Gators in 3 of the 4 parks, at many of the hotels, and many of the waterways/canal around the property. Also many Armadillos, Deer, Turkey, Snakes, Fox, Opposum, and even a Otter.

There are a bunch of them in PO:R in the fishing hole.

They stock that fishing hole. Or in other words, they feed the otters :D
