When my boyfriend and I were there earlier this year we were in line for the haunted mansion and I swore I saw one in the RoA. I told my boyfriend I saw one but it disappeared before he saw it. Guess im not crazy after all :p

Actually I saw it too when we were there for the 40th. We talked to a manager there and they said they have been trying to catch him but havent been successful.. Cant wait to see what we find next!!

They should leave a few of those nets on the long poles by the smoking section (since thats where its always seen)and the 1st guest to bring it in should get some fast passes.

My mom and I spotted an alligator on the Frontierland walkway a few years ago. There was a CM stationed there, and he mentioned that whenever one is spotted, a CM has to watch because it's illegal to feed alligators in Florida.

I'll wait for jokes about tossing in line jumpers :D

Then how would you and I get onto the property?

Through the regular gates. Are these gators just walking past Disney security? No, they are coming in through the woods around it and sneaking in at night. Im saying is that there should be some sort of fence out of sight of the guests that would stop larger animals from wandering into the parks.

Generally gators travel long distances by water and not land. This gator likely made its way through canals and then into the area in the park where it's been sighted.

Yes. Rivers of America are attached to 7 seas lagoon and bay lake via a channel. There is also long areas of water at the back of Magic Kingdom. The property is basically 40 square miles of swamp land. These are natural residents just showing up in developed areas.

I didn't even have to look at your location to tell you are one of those dreaded Y-words that also happens to be the mascot of a certain major league baseball team in NYC.

We're intruders into their native habitat. No amount of fencing will keep an alligator out of a body of water in the state of Florida.

As an aside, I work at a local central Florida Home Depot. Several months ago, while doing some forklift work at the back of the store, I just happened to glance over, and just hanging out under one of our emtpy plant carts was probably a 6 or 7 footer. Our OPS manager, who is a New York state transplant and former Marine, took one look at it and took off running. Our outside receiver and I (both native Florida Crackers) both had a good laugh at that. Classic. :ROFLOL:
