If Epcot's actual 25th is anything like DL's actual 50th (or even May 5th for that matter....BOTH were equally insane), then you guys all attending have a good time. I'll be sitting at home comfortably when I see the headline on CNN: "Epcot sets record one-day attendance on 25th Anniversary." :wave:


Now I'm depressed that I missed it by 2 weeks.

I'm pretty sure this show will be filmed by so many cameras that we will be able to compile all the footage and see the front and back sides of each and every spark in the fireworks.

I'm sure we will be.

This might sound like a ridiculous request, but please film the entire show from beginning to end, not just the tag. And the less movement of the camera the better. I've always disliked the videos that zoom in really far and then you miss whats going on everywhere else. Sorry...little bit of a pyromaniac. :lol: That and a soft spot for Illuminations and Epcot.

If mousetimes.com gets it, all the video watchers will be set. They have nice cameras and usually get great views of the show. Pray for no rain on the 1st!

That is not a ridiculous request CrashNet!!! That's why I want John to do it. The reason why I like John's ROE Videos is because it's the whole show!!

I wonder if it will be anything like Disneyland's 50th. fireworks show where they briefly reference past attractions. Would be cool to hear little snippets of Tomorrow's Child, Universe of Energy and dreamfinder.

That's what I'm hoping for - that fireworks show is amazing.

I`ve already arranged 3-5 angles of video for the show and tag, including a globe closeup. I`ve also 2 plans for the tag audio

Lastly, a special tag will be added to the nightly IllumiNations display as a special tribute to Epcot. The music will be familar to Epcot fans (Think Tapestry, Suite of Dreams, etc), and the voice of Walt will be heard. Epcot VP Jim MacPhee tells us the grand finale of the fireworks will include 800 shells in the final few seconds.
Also, he coyly added this advice: "Watch the ball."

*Screams*...I though that the whole 25 tag was just a rumor!WOW!...I'm glad I was wrong.I wish,they would play this throught the year,though.I would love to see this next summer.Are you guys sure they are doing it only on the 1st?Seems to me that Disney wouldn't design a whole new show just 4 one night.

No one at Epcot calls the earth barge "the ball." Rather, all the CMs call SSE either "Geosphere of Death" or "the ball" so you might want to point a camera that way.
