I don't think it was installed. I remember lots of talk about it on here, but nothing ever finalized. What do you mean by a special pin?? Dat's CrAzY! :hammer:

I'm not sure if it was completely installed either. There are some weird glowing infrared emitter things there now, so maybe it was.

The system, as I remember reading about it, was like this: Resort guests (and maybe day guests, too) could get a special pin that they'd wear around the parks. At certain places, like the hitchhiking ghosts section of the HM, a sensor would pick up on the pin and tell a camera to take your picture. At the end of the day or your trip you could go to a central location and pick up your set of photos. The cameras are supposed to be unobtrusive with no flash, so you wouldn't even know when or where the pictures were taken.

But, seriously, that would be freaky... A sensor device on you that, well, er-- tracks you! Like "big brother"'s watchng, you know, that sort of thing... Perhaps a caste system might come out of that too... Wearing a pin, certain "high"-paying customers get special access into special attractions, entrances, lounges, etc., all with a scan of a pin with a sensor. And maybe the cameras would track your expenses throughout the parks too, like "comps" at a Vegas casino, and then reward you for however many dollars you spend each day...

"But $50 worth of merchandise at AK today and recieve a limited-edition pin at the end of your stay!"

Something to that effect...

not true ... in MEN IN BLACK from US , It takes a picture of the Entire car , so it wouldnt have to waste money.... Disney is not that stupid ( wow defending disney for once) . .disney is not that stupid to actually install 2 cameras to take 2 seperate pictures , look at all the other on ride photo ops , all of the same car , so it really wouldnt be a money waster..
