Coach B got teary eyed as a Pats coach when he played the Giants at their place. He said in an interview he had a lot of good memories. Come back to coach the NYG again to get them winning again.
Unless you are bringing back Brady or giving him another all-time QB, I don't think you will have the results you are hoping for.

Mara loved Coach B when he was an incredible coordinator for him for 10 years. Anything is possible but him going to college and recruit kids nationwide ? I doubt he’s going.

Imagine if Iowa State's QB only trained his brain to absorb the impact he was about to take when he got hit like this. Talk about soft! Get up, wussy!

The Committee really bounced around this year….

The Final Regular Season Poll in the Tuesday prior to Championship Weekend had 2 Loss Miami behind 3 loss Bama with justification being the Canes’ lack of resume. At the same time they had 1 Loss SMU #7…..

The Commish, in response to questions about “teams not playing could move up”, stated those teams couldn’t move because they had no additional data points to judge….

How did Georgia beating Texas NOT give Bama and Ole Miss another data point?

The data points message has to do with what an individual team does, not what their opponents have done. And the reason for that is to not punish a team for making their conference final when another one didn't. It'd be crazy to punish SMU for being top 2 in their conference while rewarding Alabama for being nowhere close.

And at some point, how you actually do on the field SHOULD matter. Sure Bama played more "Top teams", but what's your line that losing doesn't matter? Should Michigan be in at 7-5 cause they had the hardest Strength of schedule?

The Alabama fanbase's tears are definitely sweet right now. They were favored for YEARS by the committee, by ESPN and their SEC bias and now that the entitlement has been taken from them, they're literally acting like spoiled children and wanting Bama to no longer schedule tough teams. Spoilers.....you weren't doing that to begin with!

Bama wouldn’t have been in the conversation if the Committee didn’t bounce Miami, who had a and still has a better record than Bama, BELOW Bama

Indiana Seed vs their record….along those same lines of what was done on the field

Wonder if Georgia will ever reach that villain status? Everyone loves the team that beats Bama, as Clemson was a darling a few years back…..

Maybe the love of Georgia will change when they embarrass the field and bring home another trophy

It’s tough living next door to Bama, especially when our Baseball Team doesn’t just fall short in the MLB Playoffs, they usually get spanked out in embarrassing fashion. And the Fans + Sports Talk radio always explain it away….and think the next Postseason will be better…

Bama’s fan base doesn’t except losing like the Braves and Orioles Fanbases do….You can relate to that

Right, but now you are talking a 2 loss difference vs a 1 loss difference with SMU. Again, what is your line?
Correct

Bama and Ole Miss beat the SEC Champ #2 Seed

That wasn’t the case when the Commish spoke…it is now and IS a data point
That is not a factor for "Data Points" in the championship weekend. They have said that the championship weekend essentially is a play in for the first round bye. The reasoning is they think it's unfair to make some teams play an additional game against elite talent while others can sit back and play nobody. Honestly it makes sense to me. I mean, we good rewarding Ohio State with a move up because they didn't have to face the only undefeated team in College Football on an extra weekend? You could make that weekend a top 25 showdown weekend possibly, where if you aren't in a conference championship game, you play the next best team in your conference. So that same weekend you get Tennesse hosting Bama, Ohio State hosting Indiana, Miami vs Syracuse, Ole Miss vs. South Carolina, etc.

But at some point just win your games. If you only lose once in a major conference (or twice if you are in the SEC and maybe the Big 10) you get in easily. I have a tough time feeling pity for the Bama's of the world who can't beat .500 teams, or Ole Miss who gave Kentucky their ONLY win in the SEC. I actually could easily argue South Carolina was the biggest snub out of the SEC, but again, I don't really think there were snubs, hands were tied when Clemson beat SMU and got the auto-bid. They did everything they could to get Bama in. Getting blown out by Oklahoma in the second to last weekend should have dropped Bama into the low teens/upper 20s in a just world anyways.

Of course, the other option is get rid of conference champions completely. With the elimination of the bowls, and the quick assent to the elimination of conferences anyways, it seems easiest just to take the top 12 teams anyways (and would be better if they designed computer systems to select them).

Ranking Bama #10 in final regular season ranking would have done all they could do to get Bama IN…..

If you got rid of the bowls completely, then you might as well expand the playoffs even further and eliminate the polls.
