My opinion- they weren’t that great even when he was well.

Bama now has 2 close “quality losses” to ranked opponents. They are 12-0 in the eyes of the committee.
Those still wanting CFP Playoff expansion to 8......can you imagine what 4-8 would look like?
In the Power 5 there will be at best 6 teams with 1 Loss less....and that is if Georgia Beats LSU, and Utah beats Oregon.
Here would be the roster of teams to pick for the CFP:
1-3
Ohio State
LSU
Clemson
4-8
Current 1 Loss Teams
Georgia
Utah
Oklahoma
Memphis - they would have to be considered in the expanded field
The next Wave of CURRENT 2 Loss Teams with current CFP Rank
5 Bama
8 Minnesota
10 Penn State
11 Florida
12 Wisconsin
16 Notre Dame
Expanding to 8 would guarantee at least 1 team with 2 losses, and would have Memphis in the dance

I just want to know if we are all willing to admit that this year’s Ohio State team is full of legit unbelievable talent?
Or, If we’re still pretending like they have some super weak schedule which makes them look better than they really are?
On a serious note, I don’t ever remember a team this stacked. The only possible weakness is that we don’t have depth in our QB roster, because people decided to commit elsewhere when Urban left. I don’t think we will have that same problem with recruiting next year.

Not sure how good your defense is......remind me of an offense you have played? Florida Atlantic was the highest rated?
And maybe, if the CFP believes you are for real they'll keep you at #1 and steer you from Clemson in the Semis....wouldn't that be a treat? Or maybe you could be #2, beat Clemson in the Semi and LSU in the Final?
Rout for LSU to beat Georgia! If Georgia wins, you play either Georgia or LSU in the Semi......and would get the choice of Atlanta or Glendale........
My guess is the CFP will give you powerhouse Utah.....if Utah cooperates.......if they don't you might get the last dude who beat Clemson

Yes, they’re a good team, likely great, maybe even the best in the country, but Jesus Christ, calm down.
When we made those comments criticizing their schedule, they’d yet to play Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan. Their best win was against a now I ranked Cincy and #25 Michigan State. They were valid criticisms, so stop taking personal offense to them.

And.....if Clemson is soooo lousy, why come ALL of the shows are saying "don't want to be #2 as they have to play Clemson".....wouldn't you want to be #2? If Clemson is lousy?

Good game last Saturday against the Coots. Surprisingly, things were somewhat calm inside the upside down cockroach. No batteries or water bottles were thrown, very few birds were flipped, and not much spit was spat. For the most part, Coot fans were on good behavior, which is highly unusual. Maybe it’s because they know that their program is a dumpster fire. Anyways, offense played well and picked apart the Coot defense. Trevor played very well and had some very pretty throws. Etienne didn’t have a real good game in terms of yardage, but he was able to find the end zone twice. And Tee had another stellar performance. Defense played very well and had the Coot’s number all game long. Overall, it was a good game and a good win. And it always warms my heart to know that little brother will be home for Christmas.
Should be a good one tomorrow night in Charlotte. UVA has a very good team this year, and their offense can be explosive. Bronco Mendenhall is a good coach and will have his guys fired up and ready to go. We know the importance of this game and are ready to play. Hopefully we’ll be able to get off to a good start offensively and defensively and set the tone for the rest of the game. We’ve got a chance to win the conference, which is our 4th goal, and punch our ticket to the playoffs. Just need to stay focused and take care of business.

Who is saying Clemson is lousy? I think both LSU and OSU want to be #1 so they don’t have to play them first, that’s also what all of the ESPN talk has been.
I wanted Oklahoma to lose. Didn’t happen. Looks like they’ll be #4... unless Georgia pulls off something crazy, which I think is unlikely.
I hope Cincinnati wins their game.
Last but not least- I’m really hoping that OSU not only wins, but plays better than LSU tonight. I want them to go in as the 1st ranked team.
