It is really important to know what you are doing and go in with a plan. We were in MK on Christmas Day. We were in the park by opening. Walked right on Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Teacups, Dumbo (only ones on ride), Little Mermaid, Mickey’s Philharmagic, and Carousel. Had breakfast at Gaston’s with no wait and plenty of seating. As the crowds built, we used our first three fast passes on Peter Pan, Seven Dwarfs, and Big Thunder. Once it was truly packed (and it was... long lines for bathrooms even), we did shows like Great Moments in History with Muppets, Monsters Laugh Floor, Carousel of Progress, Tiki Room, and Country Bears. I was able to get fast passes for Jungle Cruise, Pirates, speedway, and Haunted Mansion throughout the day. I just had to keep playing with the app. I even got one for Mine Train again! One of the best things we did was book the parade dining package at Tony’s so we had front row seats under the tree looking towards castle for the Christmas parade. We rode almost everything in park except Barnstormer, Splash Mountain, Astro Orbiter, Small World and Magic Carpets. Kids met Tinker Bell immediately after parade with no wait. We left in evening for dinner at Poly. Crowds and lines were very bad, but we weren’t impacted by them except for walking from place to place and waiting in lines for the restrooms. Most people seemed to have no clue what they were doing or where they were going. I was expecting the crowds and warned the kids we weren’t going to get much done. I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable our day was. I would not recommend it for newbies though.

Do we have any idea how close Epcot is? Currently at Studios. We have FP in Epcot later tonight and planned on being there for the NYE celebrations but if we need to head over now we will.

I have no idea, however, I have read that EPCOT is usually last to fill up due to it's massive size.
