2015 fall room discounts

Fall room discounts were just released for WDW!

Save 10-15% at a Value resort, 15-20% at a moderate resort, and 10-25% at a Deluxe resort.

Valid travel dates: 10/4/15-12/23/15, with the exclusion of 11/25-11/27.

Availability is EXTREMELY limited; already, we're finding that no rooms are available for many resorts and dates!

Excluded resorts: Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation, campsites at Fort Wilderness. 3 bedroom
villas, Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian Bungalows, Grand Floridian Villas

Lowest availability I've seen for a discount--and lower percentages off than we've seen in awhile. Bookings are up so deals are down! Glad we are buying into the DVC soon...we have a room at CBR for October at a rate we paid for AKL 5 years ago.

Yeah I would say "EXTREMELY" is correct, searched as soon as I saw the deals released on twitter. Pretty sad selection as of now, either holding back on releasing some rooms or the parks will be a lot busier than forecasted.

Quite honestly, I'm having more trouble finding available rooms than rooms with discounts. Good thing I already booked! As expected, there aren't any discounts available for POFQ for our dates, but then again there aren't any open rooms either, so we pretty much expected that would happen!

I agree with all posts. I tried to apply discounts to my rooms with no luck. I think the resorts being so booked during this time are the reason for such poor discounts.

FL res & AP ones should be out soon but this is a discount for the general public

Those MAY be announced later. With the difficulty people are having finding any regular rates for rooms, never mind this discount offer, I am not holding out a lot of hope for much in the way of passholder or Florida resident discounts being available. Sorry!!! Marie

I called this morning to try and apply this discount to our already booked vacation in October.
I was told that the promotion started this morning at 7:00AM. There was no availability for our resort (Fort Wilderness Cabins).

Out of curiosity I went online to see which resorts were available. I tried a few, but all of the searches came back with no results.

I am wondering if they are actually that limited or if they re having problems with their reservation system.
The limited availability seems to be way more severe than the previous 2 years when we booked at the same time.

Yes this is definitely the lowest availability I've ever seen! Many weeks just don't have anything at all.

I agree that I wouldn't count on FL res or AP rates. If they're not available for the public, then the rooms likely won't be there for the others either.

With free dining, rooms did open up in the following weeks- so things *could* open up a bit! The fact that there's not much even at full price isn't a good sign for more discounted rooms to open- but anything's possible!

I tried adding it to our Caribbean Beach reservation, but there was nothing available, but when I switched to Coronado Springs, I had no issues (we were torn between the two anyway, so this just sealed the deal!). POFQ on the other hand, said "We were unable to show rates at this time," which I later learned means that there aren't any discounted rooms available (which is weird because CBR said something like "No rooms available for your selected dates, party size, or offer").

I just tried looking for POR (which had some availability earlier), and it gave me the same "We were unable to show rates..." spiel. So methinks it might be a system issue? It actually looks like it's saying that for pretty much every resort that I'm checking, now that I think about it.

As Carissa said, I think this is the lowest availability we have seen in quite some time. I hope that we do get some additional inventory as time goes on. Marie

Just checked for a possible short trip in the beginning of November. Not a single resort has a discounted room available.

We got a pin for those dates back in late May and I'm glad we booked a room at that time. I wonder if they sent out ALOT of offers at that time??

Which dates? I know I'm personally looking at Columbus day weekend, so that also complicates things.

I wonder if the construction plans at the Wilderness Lodge are part of the availability problem. Apparently Disney is relocating guests with reservations due to construction plans. Maybe they are withholding rooms out of the discount announcement. I would keep checking your dates.

Certainly could be affecting availability at the MK resorts. It's difficult to find any rooms available at WL now, of course.

I also got the pin code in May and it took me about 3 weeks of checking to finally find a room we could use it on. I think they release a few rooms a week.
