Manziel got lucky. Nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Considering how the NCAA is nothing more a big business, of course, they wouldn't want an SEC contender to suffer that easily...

It sounds like they knew he did it, but couldn't prove it. Oh well, at least we get to see him play this year.

Oh and it's GAMEDAY! UNC @ USCe and Ole Miss at Vandy tonight. Let's go SEC!

So South Carolina-UNC went as expected. What a show by Vandy and Ole Miss though. I can see Ole Miss being competitive this year. Can't wait for tomorrow, SEC football and food all day. :D

Speaking of South Carolina-UNC, I know there were some criticism of Clowney "taking plays off". It's the first game of the year and UNC isn't exactly a powerhouse. Now if he takes plays off while playing the big boys of Georgia or Florida, then that's a concern. Some people need to just shut it. On a different note, Rutgers fought hard but still came up short. The kicker is just terrible and going for two in the end was probably not the smartest idea. Now I know how Nebraska fans felt after losing the '84 title game to Miami.....

Time to kick off Wisconsin football! I hope Gary Andersen is a better head coach than Bret Bielema... he was awful at game management.

I'm sure he wasn't playing 100% because they want him ready for next week. I would have done the same thing probably.

And I hate night games. I have to wait all day to see Georgia play.

Ouch!! Clemson must really be feeling cocky now...LSU and UGA in consecutive games. Dooley is smiling somewhere; legacy still safe....

I'm an OU fan and even though it was only Lousiana-Monroe they still shut them out which was something Arkansas and Auburn didn't come close to doing last year. I think the Sooners will surprise some people. Boomer!

.... I don't want to talk about it.
Puppies looked better....just win out and hoist the Crystal Ball. A 1 loss SEC Champ should get in, doubt the other three conferences ALL have undefeated champs. I guess the ACC must get a mention, with either Clemson or Florida State could be undefeated and legit.

Two straight shut outs for Sconnie! Stave is also looking better than expected. Some dumb throws here and there, but overall better than expected!

Unless our defense improves, no way we win out. Right now it looks like our offense is going to carry this team and that's not good. Teams that rely on all offense or all defense usually don't fair well. Look at what's happened to Florida. A stellar defense can't make up for that inept offense.

Auburn fan here...but no matter what the University of Alabama does this year, they could go 10 and 0, they have no chance of another championship.

You have to play teams that are ranked, and right now thay are playing 2 teams that are even in the top ranked 25. (Of course this will change, but still that would mean that these unranked schools would have to play, and win, against other teams that are ranked and winning.)

I hate this rating system.

Why would a championship team schedule a weak opponent schedule?

I blame MEG!
