I am looking forward to it but I would not really call it excited. I am expecting it to be like most modern day disaster movies that are low on story and high on special effects. Enjoyable but forgettable.
What I am excited about is watching all the freaky freaky types that are fully convinced that the world will end on 12/21/12. I think it is going to be like Y2K squared.

Just scroll through the comments on that Youtube link. How people like that are able to even function is beyond me. What is even funnier is that many of the signs and whatnot that these doomsayers are pointing to are not even correct. Here is a great article and podcast on the "reality" of 2012. I have not personally fact checked it but I have found this guy to be pretty right on.It's gonna be interesting...

Saw this trailer lst night when I went to see Transformers.
All I can say is that it looks like a big steaming pile of you-know-what.

Looks like something Al Gore might could get behind and make some money off of.....given his love for science fiction and all.
BTW; How was Transformers?
I really liked it. not as much as the first, but it was good.
