Since 2010 is almost over,let's look back at all the new and exciting additions to WDW in 2010.

Magic Kingdom
Main Street Electrical Parade returns
Cinderella's Golden Carousel was renamed Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
Tomorrowland Transit Authority changed it's name to Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
"Tangled" - Meet and Greet

Epcot
"Captain EO" returns . HISTA Closes.
Via Napoli and Hacienda de San Angel open (Completely funded by a 3rd Party)
Givenchy opens at France.
Karamel Kuche opens in Germany.
Duffy the Disney Bear - Meet and Greet

Hollywood Studios
Lotso Bear - Meet and Greet
Disney Channel Rocks starts
One Man's Dream reopens
Star Tours closes

Animal Kingdom

Or maybe they are giving the people want they want? More shopping and dining and M & G's.

Lol.... yes the changing the names of rides really got my juices flowing.

I actually like that the changed the name of the TTA cause it helps turn it back to the original ride...now if only they could change the spiel back too:drevil:

very disappointing year at the world, especially with attendance falling or if u want to believe the company being flat. It would be wise to greenlight some attractions asap and thats not even counting FLE. If the company doesn't wake up bottom lines will hurt which means we all suffer.

Nothing major at all, but I like the amount of work they are doing to put a new coat of paint on everything. I hope to consistently see that happening.

Agreed, I like that they are stepping up in good directions of upkeep, but that is exactly what it should of been all along. General Upkeep.

On that note just a side point here (Philharmagic, particularly the beginning is looking very scratching and blotchy lately takes the live aspect right out of it)

I'd give 2010 a grade of C+, nothing spectacular happened apart from bringing back some moldy oldies like MSEP and EO and some sprucing up. Mediocre is a good way to term 2010.

Lets not forget the lame interactive Haunted Mansion queue that was tested. As well as the destruction of one of my favorite areas of the park, the graveyard.

Also, wasn't there a thread about an out of themed lamp post in Frontierland.

Did anyone mention the audio, lighting and games in Space Mountain?

How about the removal of turkey legs and replacement with hot dogs at Lunching Pad?

These are off the top of my head. I'm sure I can recall many more improvements which are not major but are small changes. Certainly no DCA.

2010 in WDW was just as bad as 2010 in film.

There were some high points:
The Social Network- Pooh's re theme
Inception- Main Street finally completed

And REALLY low points:
Alice In Wonderland- Disney Channel Rocks
Yogi Bear- Nothing in WDW was that bad.

But our friends at DL are having the times of their life:

I think the most exciting thing was probably left off of the list: "Fantasyland Expansion Construction begins." (It began in 2010, right?)

While I enjoyed seeing MSEP again, I don't consider bringing back that and EO, "new" or exciting.

When compared to all that is happening in DLR, the new offerings that opened in 2010 were incredibly disappointing. With even more opening in DLR in 2011, I think we'll probably spend more time out West this coming year.
