Its a line up of what looks like a good variety of movies. Princess and the Frog, Up, and A Christmas Carol should take care of business IMO. Race to Witch Mountian and GForce appear to be the big films on the slate, in addition to the animated films. Old Dogs looks good as well. Earth could be a big suprise on earth day too. Surrogates sounds a little bit like irobot, but it still should be a good offering from Touchstone. Good job Bob Iger for getting Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone, and Miramax some great films for 2009. And just think of whats coming in 2010. Alice in Wonderland from Tim Burton, Toy Story 3, Beauty and the Beast 3-D, Prince of Persia:Sands of Time, Rapunzel, and maybe the new muppet movie and narnia: voyage of the dawn treader. The future is bright.

I'm very much looking forward to Earth. It's nice to see the nature documentary unit back up and running. I'm also very excited to see how Up turns out. And, of course, I'm excited for the return of hand-drawn animation. Looks like it's going to be a very good year for the studio, despite the economic conditions.

How soon do you think WDW will have an attraction based on the Princess and the Frog movie? I'm guessing if anything, it would be a dark ride; like Snow White or Peter Pan.

The balconies in the French Quarter of New Orleans do not rise above the city, but that's still a pretty shot of the Frog Prince and the newest Disney princess. :D

Of course, after watching Peter Pan, I thought Big Ben would be as tall as the Eiffel Tower, too.

Am I the only one who thinks that Race to Witch Mountain looks very BAD?

The rest look good though. Even though Disney is struggling with the parks, the movies sure are prospering.

I'm just so excited about The Princess and the Frog. I've been waiting for Disney to make a return to the types of movies I had while growing up (Little Mermaid thru The Lion King) for too long. I really hope they don't try to add too much of that modern pop culture crap they think will make it appealing to adults and really just stick to the classic elements.

I agree Up and Earth look amazing - I saw the Earth trailer in the theater for the first time last week and I swear I almost started crying. Disney + Nature documentary = stunning!!
