2008 Trip Plans??

Anyone know when the 2008 prices are coming out? We want to make resvs. for next february.

Rumor has it...they are waiting to see if they want to charge for magical express. Is tins true?

Last year, 2007 prices didn't come out until late July or August (I can't remember which). So I'm guessing it will be around the same time this year, as well.

Do you have to book over the phone? I just tried checking for availability at our favorite resort for January online and I could not do it. I was wondering if maybe the website was having problems, or if they will not let you book online until the rates are out.

The prices for the whole year come out all at once. Sometime this summer, whether July or August or whenever, 2008 prices will be out, as well as the schedule of when value season, peak season and regular season are. And this will be for all of 2008.

I don't think it was quite that late, but I may be wrong. I'm kind of thinking that I was being told August, every time I called, and they actually came out with the prices a little bit earlier than I was being told.

when I booked my trip last year I had no problems except just to pay the $4 difference for my room. Good thing I have AAA I get 20% my room now!!

We are hoping that WDW will have the free DDP Aug. or Sept. 2008.
That's when we would like to plan our next trip.
We save so much $ when we do the free DDP!

2008 planning will begin once the 2007 trip is over, however if all the ducks fall into place and the planets align there may be a further trip in 07. minus the brats!!!

You don't HAVE to book over the phone, but we always do. We've never used the website...so I can't really help you out there. Sorry!

We are planning on going back to Disney in Oct of 08 so I will book around Oct of this year or just after Christmas and start counting down the days. I can't wait. In the meantime I am planning a few other trips but I just can't get excited about them. There is nothing like Disney!
