Anybody know what the map of the show building looks like for 20,000 Leagues under the sea (the now closed one at the Magic Kingdom). I've seen the actual show building, but I want to know how its mapped out.

I remember hearing that 2/3rds of the ride was in a warehouse. I would LOVE to go into that warehouse!

Do any castmembers on the boards know anything about it, could get any pictures?

if anybody does have pics of it, then could they please let me know because i would be very interested!!!

It is atually possible for cast members to enter the warehouse, or does no one ever go in?

I picture it as a big warehouse full of water , with walkways above.

it's impossible to get in without going into several feet of (disgusting) water. all of the maintenance entrances (all 2 or 3 of them) are just that.. maintenance entrances. only they have access to those doors from what I understand

Yep thats what it looks like, a big warehouse full of water , with "BOARD" walkways above, PLUS a mess of cobb webs and spiders. the water is clean though because its all one big pond and you can see what's outside. I went in one day with an Engineer to see a vehicle chassis they had stored in a maintenance area, stuck my head in to see, but from the top you cann't tell anything about what's below.

umm.. i'll agree w/ you about the warehouse, but the water is NOT clean... as I walk from the tunnel to toontown and pass it, the water reeks and you can see crap floating in it and were gelatinous figures in it (ameobas?). I wouldn't wish that water on my worst enemy

I'd hate to fall into that! How scarry is it in there? How much do they pay people to clean that out. Imagine that *HUGE* giant squid and it's eye!

AHAHAhAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

I asked a CM on a recent "keys" tour (December 01) and she claimed to have never even seen the warehouse, she was honestly puzzled. I guess she never went to that end of the park. I wonder if all the animatronics are still down there?

I would imagine not since the water most likely would have discolored, and or destoryed the props. Knowing Disney they saved those pieces for safe keeping, and history (atleast O would hope so)

If you look at my avatar, you can see the subs sitting in the junkyard. If you look just above the top sub you can see some white things.

I believe they are the ice burgs from the ride.

Here is a view from behind the lagoon.

Check out the little "port" outside the wherehouse.
