OK, let's try to get a variety of experiences:

Should definitely do a character meal. I would suggest Cinderella's Royal Table, or 1900 Park Faire or Asherhaus if it's princesses, or Tusker House or Chef Mickeys for traditional characters, or Crystal Palace perhaps for Pooh and friends.

International Showcase To me, this is the best in-park food. Biergarten, a sit down German buffet which pleases just about everyone, with a show going on as well. A wonderful escape from Florida. Rose and Crown, is wonderful too.

Resorts with Special Meals O'hana, Hoop de Doo Revue, California Grill (hope it reopens soon), Boma, Jiko, Artist's Point, Narcoosees

Mix some up from category A and B and C.

We love BOMA at Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast. For a busy day at Animal Kingdom we have also liked Yak and Yeti in the past. Love the fried string beans app! In my opinion the best quality character breakfast had been Cape May Cafe. The food was SO much better than Chef Mickey's. It was also smaller and the Beach Club is a nice place to visit for a first timer since it's on the Boardwalk.

My husband loves SciFi and requested it be on our upcoming dining itinerary again. We loved T-Rex the first time we ate there when it had just opened and went back a second time and were not as impressed...it's very similar to Rain Forest Cafe as far as food goes but much better atmosphere with the dinos.

We done T-Rex last year..Had already done Rainforest Cafe in two previous trips,so I knew the theming would be cool, but what I wasn't expecting was the meal was way much better than I had imagined. We all, three of us had steaks..super..as was the two adult cocktails:confused:..Can't remember if you have kids going with you.

Sci Fi is a fun, one of a kind experience. But many people think that the food is overpriced and mediocre. The milk shakes there are outstanding.

We really like Sci-Fi because the food for us has always been really good and we are no strangers to good food. My DH loves the Oreo shake!! Fried Pickle appetizer is our fave. I always enjoy the pasta they offer and I get it with shrimp..I'm picky about my pasta and it is the item I order every time. DH has had the steak and one of the burgers and liked both. Deserts are really good as well. Atmosphere is really cool and something you have to do at least once. We have never had a bad experience there yet. :)

Such a loaded question!! Everyone has different tastes, so you are going to get a lot of different answers to this. We ALWAYS do Chef Mickey's, not so much for the food, but for the fun interaction with the characters. For a buffet it is not too bad. We did enjoy Sci-Fi, probably more for the atmosphere than the food. Food was ok, but nothing special. Boma is very good, also like LeCellier, Coral Reef & 50's Prime Time Diner.

We really enjoyed our experience at Sci-Fi. The food is decent, but not amazing. However, we found that the atmosphere and novelty of dining in a car & watching old movie trailers made up for it :) I think it's something to be tried at least once.

A few of our favorite/most often booked 1 credit meals are Via Napoli, Ohana, Kona Cafe, Tusker House, and Coral Reef. And for signatures you really can't go wrong....Cali Grill, Artist Point, Jiko, Narcoossee's, and Flying Fish. Happy planning to you, it's all part of the magic. I look forward to the dining on our trip just as much as everything else really.

MK - Liberty Tree Tavern - Liberty Square - I would see more recent recommendations of Cinderella's and Be our Guest. They are table service, but I haven't been to BOG yet and its been awhile for the former for me. But really, for a first trip, it doesn't get any better than a princess castle to dine.

Epcot - Le Chefs de France - San Angel Inn - Le Cellier - And for a first trip you could try Coral Reef but they are inconsistent foodwise. But the place is amazing and definitely a once in a lifetime, at least, experience. Totally check the menu beforehand and there are so many people that can give recent reivews and pointers about how the food is.

AK - Yak and Yeti - Rainforest Cafe(or skip this because it is also at DTD if you go there)

DHS - Sci-Fi - 50's PrimeTime Cafe

Hotels: The Grand Floridian is just magical, themed to Main Street, and holds the best childhood trip memories for me with my family - Citricos, Narcoosee's or Grand Floridian Cafe (lunch, breakfast)

Best dinner I have ever had is at Flying Fish Cafe at the Boardwalk ( They really should just hire me at this point for commercials if they ever had them, because all I do is rave about them on this website. LOL!)

Rose and Crown - watch with Illuminations
Chef de France - for just good yummy food
Crystal Palace - breakfast in the park early
O'hana - for dinner and then go watch the Electric Water Pageant
Boma - for a feel of the other resorts.
Cinderella's Round Table - because it is your first visit
