This maybe isn't my task, but I've tossed together a quick 'n' dirty list of retain & dining chains we could use. It isn't necessarily complete or finalized, and it certainly isn't themed to NOLA, and we can always argue if some are too high-end for Disney, but it fits the general needs of a shopping district. (Since I've made lists like these before for similar previous prompts.)

Maybe include a Pin store since the shopping districts generally have one? Other than that, looks great!

Based on your list of restaurants, I hereby claim the following restaurants for Audubon Park:

  • The Cheesecake Factory
  • Earl of Sandwich
  • Ghirardelli Soda Fountain
  • Panera Bread
  • Sugarfina
All of which will be housed in our district's beautiful Antebellum mansions, and created in addition to several signature original restaurants - those will be Audubon Park's calling card. Of those original restaurants, we have planned a Haute Creole TS called Audubon's (to be Disney Quarter's most elegant dining experience), a functioning riverboat restaurant (cuisine TBD), a highly-themed bar akin to Adventurer's Club with a Southern Gothic ghost/voodoo theme (tentative name: Tarot Club), one more TS setting and food TBD (EDIT - Tiana's Place), one QSR in a repurposed streetcar (Lafayette Trolley Treats) serving Cajun food, and another QSR TBD.

I mention all this to avoid overlap with your TBD original restaurants in French Quarter.

We haven't planned any shops yet for Audubon Park. Not sure, @PerGron, what's needed on that front.

From the original food chain list, the restaurants below are still available for City Park (you don't have to use them all). They're generally a bit more diverse, which should fit your area's theme.

Audubon sounds amazing!

I haven't spoken with Ace and PerGron about this yet, but given the location, my initial impressions of our restaurants are:
  • New Orleans Cafe, at the center of the French Quarter
  • Seafood along the Pier
All of which are distinct from those planned for Audubon. We should be good to go!

Shops are up to you, but I think you could go with some stuff that is more focused on clothing and accessories.

Not to reference Springs too much, but they have a hat store (Chapel Hats) that I literally adore. It’s such an eclectic feeling place where everyone is just really into hats. I’ve bought so many hats for different occasions, like Panama hats, safari hats, flat caps, and even a top hat. So suffice to say, I think a fun hat shop would be a ton of fun.

I think Audubon Park lends itself more to some of those shops that are a little higher end. I could see a Swarovski (or another jewelry brand), a cigar store, etc. stuff that just feels fancier than the stuff you’ll find in French Quarter

  • The Art of Disney (UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE WANTS THIS - DISNEY QUARTER NEEDS ONE OF THESE!)

  • Disney Christmas Store
  • Swarovski
  • ZARA

In retrospect, French Quarter is supposed to be more retail heavy. Should we expand the island and add some more shops? I don’t want to dump everything onto City Park.

City Park will definitely have House of Blues. We're also thinking of Voodoo Doughnuts as an eatery, perhaps set up next to a voodoo-themed magic shop.

Besides that, we're also looking at a jazz club. Plus, the Star Wars shop could fit in City Park if we go with that Dagobah theme for it.

If no one has claimed Levi's, that will definitely work well for City Park.

By the way, I feel like a movie theater would be another natural thing to have in a Disney Springs-style area.
