Sorry for the delay! I would love to hear everyone's thoughts of the facade flat ride:

So here's the facade:

Here's the facade flat ride:

So I can try and make the ship feel more cartoony here but the idea was that the clock face is attached to the ship swinging back and forth in tune with it. There is still a clock on the facade for guests on the ride and walking in but for most guests they will see the one on the ride swining in tune with the ship

Was thinking this ride would be indoors on the facade’s inner clockwork. (Which is an artwork I could attempt.) Better to keep the exterior view unblemished.

Doug lives. Will do retail write ups tomorrow. @Outbound, you want that base from the Tot4W for an eatery or does Team Retail get it?

Anyone want any more artworks? Taking suggestions here!
Tbh, I have no idea what to put there. Maybe a snack stand with snacks from every country? I've been focusing on the TS.

If you have ideas, you're more than welcome. If not, I'll try to think of something...

Imo the ride will be much more fun outside than inside. Inside, what are you going to see? The ceiling? But outside you get views of the whole park, plus more kinetic energy when you enter through IASW.

I’ll use it! Your TS is a larger thing than the one shop I have planned for indoors, so keep workin’ on that & I’ll add a second smaller shop to the Tower outside.

I see both sides here. I see the appeal of leaving the facade open but I also see the appeal of it being there for energy to entice guests into the area and good views.

I am good with either so I’d love others thoughts on it!

So, apologies for the rough drawing (not that good at drawing, myself), but I decided to take the mention of the visual component to heart and tried drawing the front of Stories Around the World!.

Again, not the best of art skills, but I hope it gets some of the point across. Also, for the book above the entrance that bares the gallery's name, here's a visual reference to the kind of children's book I was imagining:

I think personally having too much going on outside will take away from the calm of the gardens. Right now all we have is some jumping fountains and the Tower of the Four Winds ride which, like Astro Orbiter, is almost as much an art piece as it is a ride. Plus, with the projections and false fireworks and larger than life scenery and clockwork inside I think they'll be plenty to look at.

That being said, either way works well and I can see the arguments for both inside and outside.

So we have just over 24 hours left. How is everyone doing?

I'm doing good. You have my notes/pitches on mission statements and how it thematically ties to the park. Plus your notes on that with the "Man Vs" stuff I'm gonna try to include too. But since my stuff will be pretty quick to write up into a final form, I'm gonna probably wait till around 5ish tomorrow evening. Not last minute, but late enough I can see how people's ideas and sections develops so I can try to incorporate themes that develop while people are writing into the mission statement/intro.

Depending on how hungover/lazy/busy I am, I'm gonna try to do some art too. Probably my usual like the trash cans which are easy. But maybe a Pin or something too.

Not a lot happening in the PMs. @Mickeynerd17 is working on the boat track and yesterday, I asked them if they could do the queue and overall ride description since I’m working on the Garden of Unity.

The Garden of Unity is almost finished but it probably won’t be posted for a few hours.

I'm working on it. Been pretty busy which is why I'm so quiet, but I'll have something done today.

Yes we are doing well! It won't take that long to write up so we will definitely be done by tonight.

I haven't been on it much since I've been a little but busy, but I will work on it in about an hour and I'll add everything we have so far.

Gardens of Unity

Welcome to the Gardens of Unity where nature and peace come to life! Enjoy topiaries of creatures found all across the globe and be entranced by dancing fountains and even learn phrases from new languages all while partaking in a beautiful walkthrough like none other!

Guests enter the garden and are told by Cast Members to follow the fountains as dancing fountains lead the way through the walkthrough. First, guests see topiaries of animals found in the Savannah like Elephants, Giraffes, and Lions. Suddenly, a lion topiary reveals itself to be alive and let's out a mighty roar. After following the fountains some more, we come across an area covered with snow and surrounded by topiaries of animals found in the Arctic like penguins, polar bears, and walruses. Again, the polar bear topiary comes alive and waves at guests. They enter a musical area where, if they read the signs properly, they can be "It's a Small World" on different instruments like a large piano. Up next is a section where guests see topiaries of sharks, crabs, and other sea creatures. The fountains put on a finale show where the water pops up from all around. The final section is an area where guests can see greetings from each language and maybe pick some up for themselves. They can say a certain phrase into a specific speaker and that phrase will be repeated back to them in whatever language is represented on the speaker. The fountains wave goodbye as guests exit.
