I just finished watching Cats for the first time. What the actual ****. Who thought this was a good idea. Why did think this was a good idea. I think even my own cat is traumatized from just laying on my lap while I was watching this movie.

That’s crazy cause I also finally watched Cats (thank you HBOMax) and I have to say I kinda loved it unironically. The songs and the dancing were very enjoyable for me to watch and I dont get the hate for it.

Although I wasn’t a fan of the ending and wouldve prefered a reprise of Jellice Cats and Naminf of the Cats with the whole cast and Victoria tieing up all loose ends?

Okay but serious question: which song was your favourite?

Man I wish I remembered like....any songs from the musical. I don't remember a thing! I think the most engaging though was the part where Taylor Swift was on the chandelier giving out catnip. So that one's my favorite haha.

Beautiful Ghosts was “meh” to me watching it live but the more I listen to the soundtrack, the more I love it!

Beautiful Ghosts was a miss for me and I like Taylor’s songwriting a lot (especially Folklore). There was nothing wrong with it. It just felt like it was missing something to it.

It’s an original song shoved into a score full of T. S. Elliot poems. It doesn’t fit. Even Memory was based on an unpublished poem

Part of me wants to do a "plebeian" series where I show what makes iconic attractions not work.
Basically hot takes of disney attractions. Though the only problem is I never got to experience most of these in person, but maybe looking in that perspective helps in a way?

Genuinely curious to hear why. Personally, I think that it's an amazing culmination of the ideas and philosophies that built EPCOT, but I'd love to hear some dissenting opinions. You don't see many for Horizons, lol.

Having not seen it outside of videos, I always thought it was third behind Spaceship Earth and World of Motion. But that could just be because I never did it in person other than when I was too young to remember
