Trip Report $150 for 11 days

The majority of people who visited my pre trip report don't think I can do it within my budget. I am going to try and write my TR every day including how much money I spent.

3 Nov. was a travel day. I flew BA from Gatwick. The flight was fine and I got to All Star Sport around 9pm. Unpacked and went to bed. Total spent $0

Refreshed from my nap I went to HS for EMH. I hadn't really planned on going back to HS but I loved the Spectacle of the Dancing lights so much I wanted to see it again. I made it to the park in time for the first Fantasmic. After the show I went to One Man's Dream. I took my time looking at all the displays and finally saw the movie. Then I rode the GMR. I had 2 terrible guides but that kind of made it more fun. I was getting hungry so went to the Streets of America and had the best picknick ever. I had a peanut butter and banana sandwich and some chips while sitting on the curb getting faked snowed on. It was pure bliss!
I sat there until my bum was numb. I rode TSMM twice, when I exited the second time it was after 10. I took the long way out and made it to the bus stop at 10.30pm. Longest line I have ever see at Disney but I was on the bus back to the hotel in 33 min. (Yes I timed it)
Absolutely lovely day $11.02

Tuesday 11 November
"Late night" last night. I was in bed at 11.45 and up at 7 for EPCOT morning EMH. I was in the park at 8, rode Soaring twice and TT once. I wanted to ride TT again but it broke down. I went to Innovations to play around while it was still nice and quiet. I designed a very tame bobsled ride on Sum of All Thrills and learned I don't have enough money to retire. WSC was open after that so I went to Mexico, rode the ride and watched the stone turn color. I spent a lot of time in Japan mostly sitting in the sun and people watch. Morroco was next, the marketplace there looks very nice. (Much nicer than in the real Morocco)
I finally made it to France for lunch. That boulangerie is sooo good. I had the quiche Florentine (goats cheese and spinach) and creme brulee for dessert. I waddle past the UK and Canada towards the exit. Quick spin on SSE and than I went home to rest.

I watched some tv and put my feet up while in my room. Also had to reply to a few work mails. Got the bus back around 5.30 and walked on SSE. I had noodles in my room before I left and brought some clotted cream fudge with me to the park. I ate some on SSE. The fudge was delicious but I desperately wanted some coffee with it. So I splurged and got a latte at Starbucks. After a week of instant that coffee tasted extraordinarily good.

I rode Nemo and went to Turtle Talk. Second time and still funny. I went on TT (love the single rider line) and browsed the shops a bit. I had seen Illuminations years ago and didn't really care for it and thought I should give it a second chance.
After the second viewing I still don't care for it. Compared to Wishes and Fantasmic I find Illuminations a bit boring. The pictures on the globe are difficult to see and the fireworks are tame if you have seen Wishes.
All in all a great day at EPCOT slightly over budget at $16.93

i wish i could go and spend that little money, the smell of the treats when walking down main st draws me in. Sounds like you had a awesome trip, we are missing our yearly trip this year due to the economy, but we will book our trip for next Thanksgiving week in Feb. we may implement your food plan, the money we would save would pay 1/2 of our trip.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!
I am happy to show that you can have a great time at Disney without breaking the bank.
I did bring treats with me I don't eat very often so my food on holiday has still been special and I am happy to eat it. If I just had some granola bars or other food I didn't really enjoy I wouldn't have done so well.

Wednesday 12 November was a MK day. I slept in and didn't get to the park until 10.30. I hadn't had breakfast yet so had the last of my waffles and some dried fruit while sitting at the trainstation overlooking Main Street. Such a lovely view. There were several fun street performances while I was sitting there.
I had a FP to see the Mouse himself. It was very cute seeing the kids infront of me interact with Mickey. Like most 5 year olds my god daughter loves Anna and Elsa so they were next on my list. I had a pretty scary looking Elsa but Anna was very nice. I people watched until it was time for the parade. Third time watching it this trip and I still loved it. My last FP for the day was for Splash. I got slighty wet but the weather was gorgeous so I didn't mind. I was getting a bit hungry so had the kids bbq sandwich at Pesco Bill. The bun was inedible but the pork was nice enough. I had fries, grapes and OJ with it. Not the best meal but not too bad either. After my early dinner I hopped on the steam train. I did 2 loops around the park just relaxing while listening to the narrator.
I felt like some icecream so got a Dolewhip Float. That thing is delicious but so big. It took me awhile to finish but I refused to admit defeat.
HM was next and than I went to watch Anna and Elsa light the castle.
Buzz was next, there was a short wait for it but under my 20 min. rule. I maxed out again. When I was leaving a lady chased me out. She wanted to know how I got such a highscore. I had time so offered to ride with her to point out the best targets. She was so happy it was really funny. After our ride together I left her to practice. It was time for the Electrical Parade. The music alone makes me smile.
After the parade I found a nice spot on the bridge where Tinkerbell flies over and people watched until Wishes started.
After Wishes I rode the peoplemover and ended my night with Buzz.
Magical Day $11.70
