Trip Report $150 for 11 days

The majority of people who visited my pre trip report don't think I can do it within my budget. I am going to try and write my TR every day including how much money I spent.

3 Nov. was a travel day. I flew BA from Gatwick. The flight was fine and I got to All Star Sport around 9pm. Unpacked and went to bed. Total spent $0

Continuing my day
After my lunch of baked beans and some crackers I had a look at all the Frozen merchandise in the shops. It's all pretty cute but nothing I was even tempted to buy. I made my way to see the Muppets 3D which always makes me laugh. I was starting to get tired but had a FP for TSMM so browsed some shops until I could use it. I am not very good at it but love it anyway. After TSMM I decided to go back to my hotel for a rest. Made it back by 3, bought 2 slices of bread at the restaurant to make a cheese sandwich in my room. I was planning on being back at HS by 5.45 for Fantasmic but I fell asleep and didn't wake up till 5.20. Oh well, change of plans. Since I missed Wishes last night I decided to go back to MK. Got there at 18.30 and rode the Little Mermaid as there was no line. Walked around for a bit enjoying the lights and decorations and then saw Anna and Elsa light the castle. Olaf appeared on the balcony which I thought was cool.
After the show I found a nice spot to watch the Electric Light Parade. It started of great but after a few min. this large family squeezed in around me . They talked very loudly and kept blocking my view with Ipads. I channeled my inner Elsa and just Let It Go and left. Walked on to Buzz to try and find the hidden high score Z's.
I was able to walk on several times and my score kept improving. At 8.50 I found a spot on the bridge where Tinkerbell flies overhead to watch Wishes. That show gives me goosebumps everytime. As soon as Wishes was finished I went back to my Buzz practice. I rode so many times my hands hurt but it was totally worth it. I will try and post a pic. of my highest score tomorrow. At 10 the CM wouldn't let me back on Buzz again but the Peoplemover was still moving so I hopped on that for a last spin of the night. As luck would have it a bus was waiting for me to take me back to my hotel.
Total spent on this wonderful day $4.72

I will go back to Buzz later in the week but not sure if I can get such a high score again.

So today is Thursday 6 Nov. I set my alarm because I have been enjoying getting to the parks early and getting lots done in the morning.
I decided to go to EPCOT today. After MK this is my favorite park. I was at the park at 8.30 and chatted in line with 2 sisters also from the UK. I lost sight of them during my power walk to Soaring. During the mad morning dash it really pays to be fit and solo as I out walked most people. I walked on Soaring. This ride pulls on my heartstrings because I love CA. After Soaring I hopped on TT via the single rider line. I strolled over to ride Nemo and do Turtle Talk. Crush was hilarious, I usually don't do Turtle Talk because a member of my family is nearly deaf and can't really enjoy it. After that my FP for Soaring was valid. I was feeling a bit tired and wanted a quick nap. My usual in park nap place is the presidents hall but that was too far a walk so I thought I'd try out Ellen's Energy Adventure for it's nap potential. I was pleasantly surprised I got a good 25 min nap and only saw a bit of the beginning and the last 2 min. of the ride. I checked out the festival venue because I read you could get free chocolate but they were only handing out minis. The chocolate sculptures were very cool. I loved the Toy Story one.
I had a drink and snack while people watching in the shade and now I am walking around World Show case trying to decide what to eat from the F&W stalls.

Ellen's energy Adventure is definitely the best place to nap! I was recently at Food and Wine fest... so many delicious things that would make sticking to a budget tricky. Can't wait to hear what you chose. I think some of the best values there now are the lettuce wrap from South Korea or the lamb meatball from New Zealand. So good!!

I only had the bacon hash with hollandaise sauce. It was a decent portion and had a nice kick to it. I got a big scoop of free popcorn at Caramel Kuchen from a nice German girl. My german is pretty good and had been to her hometown so I talked to her for a bit in German. I wasn't after free popcorn as I normally don't eat it. I just wanted to practice my german but it was very sweet of her and the popcorn was nicer than expected. I debated getting the pita in Morocco but I wasn't hungry so didn't. I finished all the lands and the crowds were starting to annoy me so I took the exit towards the boardwalk. It is so peaceful and pretty walking there. I walked to the Swan and hopped on the boat to HS. I had a craving for icecream so got a (huge) cup of mint choc chip. Watched some street performers while eating it and by then the Fantasmic theater was open.

It was much too big for me so I ate about half in EPCOT and finished the rest of during Fantasmic. The moon was beautiful last night. It started to rise right behind the rock where Mickey appears at the beginning of the show and it was above Sorcerer Mickey at the end. It made the show even more magical for me. After Fantasmic I people watched again until the crowd had dispersed and then I got the bus to MK. I rode Haunted Mansion twice with no wait. After that I heard Buzz calling my name.

I had a lazy day today. I slept in, read the paper on my tablet in bed and chatted with family at home. I also cleaned out my park bag and went through my food supply to see what is left. (plenty)
I took the bus around one to DTD. I never really looked at the shops there so I thought I would check them all out today.
I also had 2 coupons from Earl of Sandwich, for a free brownie and sandwich.
There was a long line at EoS but it was worth the wait. I had a BBQ chicken wrap and it was delicious. I ate half the wrap and brownie for lunch and the other half for dinner. I was a bit dissapointed with the shops at DTD. I was hoping there would be more original things but it was pretty much the same Disney things as I saw in the parks. Probably best as I don't have money to buy anything anyway.
After looking over the shops I went to Disney Quest and played lots of games. It was fun but I wouldn't pay extra to enter.
When I came out it was getting dark. There was lots of musics being played and beautiful christmas lights everywhere making DTD look very pretty. I know people have been complaining about the work being done at DTD but I didn't think it was that bad.
I was tired so got the bus back to Sports and watched some TV.
Nice relaxing day total spent $0
