The rain in Florida does not come straight down....the canopy would have to be huge to be effective, and that would probably ruin the whole "outside entrance" effect.

I was getting a little sad looking at the Land interior shot....sad knowing this may be the last i see of it since they plan on removing the Sunshine Food Fair. Darn shame, as i LOVED it there.

The Stitch shot is AWESOME....the best yet with the exception of Grizz's avatar. Small World is shocking to me to see....wow i hope they know what they are doing.....

I spent quite a bit of time in there last night trying to soak it all in so that in a couple of years I could remember..

One more thing I forgot to mention, they've officially turned the Disney Gallery store on Main Street into something MUCH less interesting. I guess we have to go to Epcot to look at Disney art now.

Seeing the balloons in the Land brought a tear to my eyes knowing the next time I'm there, they'll probably be gone :cry:

I was thinking that I wouldn't want to see the entrance outside because of all the thunderstorms. With outdoor water, every time there's lightning, the ride would have to go down. That could possibly create some problems in fantasyland during storms as it would mean one less dry place.

But, the AC would definitely be a plus. :D

Hmm, if it were up to me, I would suggest canopy removal on the outside (stroller parking) and build the Disneyland facade there. Then make the rest inside. :) Although you wouldn't be able to see the ride from the outside, I think it would work and at the same time widen the pathway between Peter Pan and Small World there.

If the Small World building did have Asbestos in the roof or anyother part of the building they will have to take it out. When I was in high school they had to gut the hole building during the summer to get ride of the asbestos.

Actually it's not quite bare. The load tower is still there, and still painted just as colorfully as before. It just didn't quite make it in the picture.
