Trip Report 10 x 2 wishing for an extra magical celebration! Completed!

I'll start this pre trip by taking you back in time. Approx 10 years and 7 months.

I was having my first ultrasound with my amazing OBGYN. This being my second pregnancy I was an old pro. All 31 years old and cocky. When my doctor suddenly said "Oh, here is why you have been so sick. Baby A and Baby B. You're having twins."

The world stopped. Everything came crashing down around me. I was speechless, dumbfounded even. I couldn't process anything she told me and was sent on my way to digest the news.

10 years later, I look at my beautiful, brilliant, unique and sassy girls and I am still speechless and dumbfounded. How did I get so lucky that the Universe gave me you?!? So this trip is all about celebrating Bear and Nene. Double Digits Baby!

It was time for our ILL for Cosmic Rewind and we were all so excited for this!
IMG_0568.jpeg
As we walked closer we realized something was going on. It appeared as though there was a Hazmat situation so the ride was down🤢. They couldn't tell us how long it was going to be but suggested we come back later and redeem our ILL. We decided to go to head toward Soarin instead of waiting around.

We couldn't resist a stop in the butterfly house when in the area.

We had an 11:30 ADR in France so we made our way over to France to check in. This was a first for us and Paca was looking forward to this one. He loves Crepes!

Sorry no descriptions it's been too long. I can't remember! The food was just ok. It will probably be a one and done for us. We had 10 minutes before our Rat LL so we did some shopping and a little boozing.

IMG_0583.jpeg

Finally it was time to tap in and I got to be honest soarin followed by sugary crepes followed by champagne followed by Rat had me feeling like I may have a hazmat event of my own!
IMG_0587.jpeg

We took our time eating some crackers and hanging out by the Vespas until I was feeling a little better.

It was 1:00pm and it was time for out Guardians VQ. We had decided to ride it back to back since we were hoping to leave the park by 2:00pm for a break and to meet up with Nana and Pawpaw. We made a few stops hunting eggs in our way back.
IMG_0594.jpeg

I just love Spring in Epcot, it's one of my favorite ways to spend a day.
IMG_0596.jpeg

When we made it to Guardians it was 1:15pm we discovered it was down again! We asked if they had an idea how long and of course they didn't . I'm not sure why we ever ask that question. The kids did not want to leave Epcot without riding so we decided to find a shady spot and camp out. Jet, Hubby and Handsome we're getting impatient so they went for a photo shoot.

We waited 2 hours taking turns walking, shopping visiting the bathroom. No one was willing to ride anything else so it drove me nuts sitting still finally at 3:00pm while Paca was in the bathroom they opened the ride. We made a mistake here. He told us to go ahead and use our ILL's so we could get through quickly and when we got down he would ride with us on the VQ. If I would have thought this through we would have done this the opposite way. Either way after a 2 hour wait we were happy to be going on.

Our song was "One Way or Another" Which was great since the kids knew the words. We loved it and were so excited for Paca to ride with us. Unfortunately our mistake from above led to an hour wait in the virtual queue.

Same song! Same fun! The kids declared it worth the wait so I guess that's a win.

Originally I had planned on going back to the room to rest and escort my parents to dinner since they are new to WDW. Those plans had to change. I attempted to draw a map to the Skyliner and hoped for the best. I told my parents we would meet them at the exit to walk over to dinner together.
IMG_0604.jpeg

Well they made it!
IMG_0608.jpeg

This crew was ready for dinner a kitchen sink!

We finished it pretty easily since we had so many helpers.

Nana and Pawpaw were feeling rested. They hadn't booked park tickets this day since they had drove 14 hours the day before. Their plan was to relax poolside and be ready to go strong the next morning. We however had plans to hit up DHS for the evening. We all boarded the Skyliner together then went our separate ways at CBR.

I agree with you on how there is just a different feeling at WDW versus US. I love the picture with you all reunited. My SIL felt sick the two times he went on Ratatouille also! I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get him back on it come our December trip. I always enjoy the presentation of the kitchen sink to families when eating at Beaches N Cream!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the readers! Thanksgiving is my favorite good food, drinks, family, friends. No worrying about the perfect gift or hauling out bins and bins of lights. The perfect holiday in my opinion.

Back to this very late report.

After SDD we made our way to Midway Mania. I don't remember how long we waited but it was short.

Handsome was mad he didn't get his beloved red shooter.

No one was in the mood for Alien Swirling Saucers so we made our way to GE. We had an ILL for ROTR so timing worked perfect.

Sounds like a fun time at DHS. We actually got to see Fantasmic in October for the first time in at least 6 years or longer and it was really great! We love the skyliner also and sometimes hop on just because it's so relaxing!

We were all up and at it bright and early. I think we were all excited for Nana and Pawpaw's first at the parks. We had been concerned about boarding a bus with both a wheelchair and a scooter but we had no issues the whole trip. On the first bus to AK at 6:48am.

We decided to walk with the masses to FOP which was probably a huge mistake considering we had 4 kids, a scooter and a wheelchair. We ended up standing in line for an hour.
IMG_0651.jpeg

It was a struggle to help my mom on the ride vehicle but we did it. It was a great ride like always!

We had a LL booked for the safari so that was our next destination. I really wanted to take advantage of photo pass this trip since this will probably be the only time we are altogether. So photo shoot time it was.

It was 10am by the time we finished our safari ride. We had an 11 ADR at Yak & Yeti so we decided a ride on Everest was next. We were able to book a LL we just had to walk slow since there was a larger time gap than we would have liked.

We love the Yeti!!! I didn't take any pictures from lunch however Hubby declared it his favorite meal at WDW so I guess that's a success.

We had accomplished everything we wanted to at AK so we decided to head back to CBR for a rest/swim.

Love that you got so much done right away at AK even with the hour wait at Avatar FOP! We haven't been to Yak and Yeti in many years but after hearing that your husband thought it was the best meal of the trip, I'm going to add it to the rotation for our January trip! It's so nice that you were able to get the whole family together for this trip.
