Hi everyone!
Had a great trip to the world, and wanted to give recap...
Thursday 10/2
- Magical Express took 45 minutes to get me to POP (Awesome!)
- Surprised at how smooth the check-in was completed!
- On to EPCOT Center, pretty light crowds
- Dinner at Teppan Edo was great! The Chef was really into it, so it made the experience even better!
Friday 10/3
- I walked onto Soarin' at 9:45 am and I never saw a wait all day over 25 minutes
- It was a super light day, and I was able to walk onto everything
- Le Cellier for lunch was great, as usual!!!!
- I got run over by a wild stroller and landed in First Aid with a twisted ankle, it stunk to do on my first whole day but I can now say with confidence that First Aid is top notch
- Headed over to MK and the longest wait I had was at the Ferry over at 15 minutes
- COP was about 3/4 full when I rode it, and there were a lot of people getting on and off. It was really cool to see!!!
- After a rest, I decided to head over to DTD for some shopping, and the busses at Pop were great because anytime there was a long line another bus "magically" appeared.
- On the buses, there was still the recorded information about PI
- WOD was packed to the gills!!! It was pretty crazy in there!!!!
- At WOD, Mousegear, The Emporium, the resort, and everywhere else that I checked there was a lack of any size over medium shirts for women and all of the CMs that I asked seemed pretty frustrated, because they said that everyone is asking for them and they just don't have them! I was SUPER lucky after my 3rd pass around the shirts, and found a CM putting out 2 size large shirts that has Mickey on the front and Minnie on the back. I was so excited! :sohappy:
Saturday 10/4
- Headed over to ride SSE (I got lucky in that I got to witness a lot of changes on the descent)
- After a little while decided to head over to Studios, and the park was still packed from morning EMH at 10:00
- Saw Muppet Vision (I love the muppets)
- 10:30 TSMM was at a 70 minute wait, with FP a return time of 5:30 (There were a lot of guests not so happy about this one!!!)
- Headed back to Pop for some rest before MNSSHP
- Dinner at Tony's was meh. I still can't get over how limited of a menu they have there!!!
- Boo to You is now my FAVORITE parade of all times. I was psyched that Jack caught my kiss and tried to climb down the float :kiss:
- Caught SM with the lights on from the TTA, and that was neat to see but I am still d__________g (apparently duck-ing is censored) while riding!!!
- HM with the CMs in make up was just super cool!!!
Sunday 10/5
Check Out Day
- Had to change a few things (seat and number of bags) with ME, and it went a lot better than I expected.
- Rode SSE for the last time until December
- The most interesting part of my trip was the ride home. I started talking to a gentleman and his daughter, and it turns out that his wife is on the Mom's panel. We were talking about everything, and Fantasmic! came up and I said how I was bummed about that be phased to 2 shows and he said that they were re-thinking that and it was probably not happening. Also we talked about the lack of any real plans for PI, the innaugural EE challenge at AK, and the stuff his wife did for the Mom's panel. It was a nice conversation, and very interested insight into the panel!
Overall, the trip was amazing and I would suggest a solo trip to anyone who is outgoing. I don't think I would stay at Pop again, while the buses were great I found the CMs to be rude and unhelpful when I had a question...which was a huge disappointment since check in was so smooth! Also my husband had arranged for Disney Florist to deliver some flowers for me, but they lost his order and had to refund his money. It was still a great trip, though!!!
