1 day MYW ticket towards AP?

I had to purchase 3 one day magic you way tix for my upcoming trip with the dining package. I don't plan on using the one day tix because I have some old hoppers left to use.

Can I put the cost of one (or more) of these MYW tickets towards buying an AP for next years trip?

Also, you are limited to a one-to-one exchange. Only one ticket can be used toward one new ticket. You cannot combine the value of multiple tickets toward a single new ticket/AP.

I was able to use two tickets last year to renew my AP.

Yes! We are doing this too! We are putting it towards the AP pass. It does have to be done in person though. The ticket windows open up 30 min prior to park opening - and that includes 30 mins prior to EMH's. Have a great trip!

The 'rule' is only one ticket can be applied to the purchase of an AP. Technically, you are upgrading the MYW ticket to an AP rather than getting a credit towards an AP.

However, I have heard of people who had more than one ticket credited toward a single AP. It may be that the computer messed up occasionally or perhaps a knowledgeable CM at a ticket sales booth knew how to circumvent or bypass the requirement. If the won't or can't, the rule is they're not supposed to, so accept it. If they can and do, more power to you.
