Trip Report “Excuse me ma’am, can you put your phone away? Snow White doesn’t like apples” March 2019 *COMPLETED*

Sadly, I’ve been back in the real world for 4 days, but I’m glad to say that it was a great trip! Different, but still great. Surprisingly, the Disney depression is not very high (not sure if that’s a good thing :hilarious:), but I don’t want to take any risks, so let’s get this TR started!

For those of you who are just joining, I’d like to say welcome and feel free to read my PTR for background info.

Before I start, I want to warn everyone that I only have a month left before the semester is over. :joyfull: With that being said, the next 4 weeks might get extremely busy and I may not have a lot of time to post, so please bear with me. I don’t want to drag this TR out like I did with the last one, but I make no promises. :hilarious:

I’m always glad to welcome more Muppets stuff to the parks.

At last!

I got the Croissant Jambon Fromage (ham, cheese, and bechamel in a croissant) I can’t remember what/if L got anything.
360211

:hungry: It was sooo good! It was more like bread than a croissant. This thing was also massive!

This is the 1st of several items I got on this trip that AJ from DFB has been raving about. I feel so overwhelmed by the choices at Les Halles that I usually end up getting the same thing, but I was glad to get something different.

After Les Halles, we continued our trip around WS. With the exception of taking some time to walk through the Morocco pavilion and visit some of the shops, we didn’t do much stopping this go round because our next FP was coming up.

Not sure what was going on, but they were doing some work to the left of the entrance to the American Adventure.

I was disappointed that they left out the rest of the dwarfs this year.

I noticed that they updated the audio at the beginning and finally removed the sponsored by Siemens part. It’s ok, but I liked the previous dude better.

After our time traveling adventure, we were ready to head back to WS.

I think the GotG ride building blends in nicely. It kinda looks like a break in the clouds.

360833

There’s about a 40min break between the previous photo and the following. Here’s what happened in between.

L was hungry when we got to Mexico, and decided to stop for some rice and beans from La Cantina de San Angel. There wasn’t an open table, so we ended up grabbing a spot on the pyramid. L said the rice and beans were good. I people watched while she ate. The early stages of St. Patty’s Day drunkenness was beginning to start, so things were getting entertaining. L finished eating and we continued on.

The crowds were insane between Mexico and China, that’s why I didn’t take any pictures. They had CMs directing traffic from La Hacienda all the way to the drawbridge. It was starting to get chaotic. Kids and adults were throwing tantrums.

I felt sorry for one little boy. He was trying to tell his dad that he was tired and wanted to go back to their resort and take a nap. His dad told him to suck it up and that they weren’t going back because he “only had 4 beers” and was “behind schedule”. Poor kid. I hope he got his nap and that the dad spilt his beers. What a jerk.

We made it to Italy and I was ready for an Outdoor Kitchen.

Primavera Kitchen: Pizza Toscana (Rustic Italian Flatbread with Sweet Sausage, Caramelized Onions, Mozzarella, Asiago, and Parmesan Cheeses)
360834

:hungry::hungry: Very good and surprisingly filling! Wasn’t expecting 2 slices, but I’m not complaining! I thought the sausage was especially good.

I sat by the lagoon and enjoyed my pizza while L went to the restroom.

L returned as I was finishing my pizza. Our plan was to hit up the 2:15 showing of the American Adventure, so we headed there next.

As usual, we came in right as the Voices of Liberty were finishing their performance. :banghead: I swear we never catch them on time.

We still had a few minutes before they opened the theater, so I wandered around a bit.
360839

I’d never really paid these paintings any attention before, but they’re really fascinating.

You need a licence to hunt, drive a car and get a dog.
But any two idiots can become parents

I feel for the little guy too.

I feel so sad for that poor kid. What a crummy reason not to give your kid a break they are so eloquently asking for.

As I was about to look at the other paintings, it was time to go upstairs.

While we waited for the doors to open, this guy in front of us kept going on about how excited he was to hear Abraham Lincoln recite the Gettysburg Address and that HoP was his favorite show. Wrong park buddy. :hilarious:

361127

With the exception of the descending female submarine worker still being out, it was a good show as always! Really puts me in a patriotic mood!

As we were exiting the theater, we got behind the man (again) who was here to see Lincoln. He was complaining about how the show was horrible and that it shouldn’t be called HoP when there’s only 2 presidents. (Roosevelt and FDR) :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Why do people have to be so incredibly stupid?! He still thought this was HoP despite the numerous signs that said the American Adventure and hearing the CM say the American Adventure at least 10 times.

We have another 45min gap between pictures. I can’t remember what happened in between, but we continued around WS. I don’t believe we stopped in Japan, Morocco, or France. I do distinctly remember that the UK was a mess.

Thanks Buzz

This is when we witnessed 3 extremely intoxicated people being escorted out of R&C pub by OCSD. Their St. Patty’s Day festivities had come to an end. We did briefly stop in one of the shops I think.

Eventually, we made it to Canada.

Earlier at the American Adventure, I grabbed me another FP for Soarin’ at 3:40ish. L had gotten a FP for Nemo around the same time (I think), so we headed in that direction.

It wasn’t quite time for my FP, so I went back to the (less crowded) aquarium.
