HOT MAN!!!!! I just said I would be reducing my trips to WDW due to the MM+ crap but this has just sold me. I have long awaited for this - yes I am going just for the mickey ears the glow during the shows. I am soooo there!!!

Did they do a giveaway at DL?

Yes, at a special event.. when they were trying to seed the concept with the APs.

I think it could be awesome in the F! theatre.. and god knows Disney sets enough of the plastic light toys in DHS. I just can't stomach the price. We almost bought them at DLR on our last trip.. but common sense got to me and we passed.

Can you use the same pair of ears to every park and does it have a GPS installed to track which park are you in? It'd be great if you're staying at one of monorail resorts or the Boardwalk and your ears still worked.

You can always turn the ears on and they glow with a random pattern of colors. They also automatically sense when you are near a participating show and begin to glow in sync with the show. I wore a pair to WDW last year and everyone was asking where I bought them and of course I had to say 'They're only at Disneyland'. I felt special.

They will work here as there are more daily visitors who will buy each day. DLR has more annual daily visitors who leave their hats at home.

Now, since F! is first would they do a media event there for them? will everyone receive a hat for the show? Would be cool if i could be there to see it for myself

In DL, I think they did a AP holders exclusive showing after hours where they all received free hats. I think it could be possible to do that at WDW even though the number of passholders is smaller than at DLR.

The video from WOC looks awesome. I was pumped when I saw it. Just one thing was nagging at me that I couldn't put my finger on.

It just hit me: I'm paying $25 for something that really doesn't benefit me. Because it's lighting up on top of my head, I don't get anything out of it during the show. Don't get me wrong, it looks great, but it's probably not for me.
