    New CDC Guidance Clarification

SeaWorld mask enforcement is a joke. I wouldn't bother worrying about it at all, because even months ago you could have gone the whole day without having been asked to put on a mask.

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

My bad, I guess I may have misunderstood the rumors.

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

The sign in front of the attraction also says "Under Refurbishment to Welcome Our New President". I'm gonna say this puts an end to any rumors that this is being replaced by anything, from Hamilton to The Muppets, or any of the other many rumors circulating this attraction for years.

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

From what I understand, Disney is trying to make WDI a creative hub in a variety of ways across the company. At the moment, Muppets are the only "studio" or brand that are under WDI at the moment, but it's certainly possible they could handle other small brands (many merchandise design roles...

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

Nice to see some confirmation of the fact that WDI indeed runs The Muppets Studio now. This has been the case since about August of 2019, but it never really got a press release or any official publicity. I'm still very excited about how WDI will lead the characters in the future.

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

Seconding this! It's true that the Jim Henson era is quite unmatched, but to say everything post-Jim was bad is too misguided for me. My complaint is that they switch hands too often with no overall vision, but they've also fallen into the hands of people who truly understand them. Muppet...

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

If I'm not mistaken, it aired on some international Disney Channel stations, most notably the UK Disney Channel in the 90s.

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

The verdict is still out on whether I am a Muppet or not!

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

I guess some people here are unfamiliar with the Muppets on a larger scale, and don't realize what a big deal this is. The Muppet Show has never gotten a home-video release in it's entirety. Disney started to do so in the early 2000s by putting them on DVD, but gave up after season three...

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

Because the Muppets exist in our world and so they are an easy property to utilize without having to be concerned about setting or breaking story. You can place them into any land and it makes as much sense as ourselves being in that land. Having Sam the Eagle as a basis for this, it's an...

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

This is not the announcement that the Muppet Twitter feed is teasing.

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Danny Trejo is a frequent friend and collaborator with the Muppets, starring in several Muppet projects, including their two recent theatrical films.

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Sorry if this was mentioned already, but this is not news nor a teaser of secret information. The Muppets Studio is now a division of Walt Disney Imagineering and has been since about August of 2019. This challenge was just WDI using their resources to promote the brand they now represent (the...

News ‘The Muppets Present… Great Moments in History’ Returns for a Limited Run in February

Agreed! I love Muppet-Vision 3D for instance, but there's a certain magic in the ability to see the Muppets within such close proximity in a live show like this. It's such a wonderful sense of magic that you're immediately swept up within and it works so well. It's cool to see that Disney even...

News ‘The Muppets Present… Great Moments in History’ Returns for a Limited Run in February

With no offense meant - I think this would be a terrible idea. Loses the whole specialty of seeing the Muppets live. They exist and live within *our* world and now there they are, right in front of your very eyes! To lose a live character for a screen would be the biggest waste of the Muppet...

    Disney making Artemis Fowl!

Can't believe this stretches all the way back to 2013! I do find it weird that this movie comes out in four months and we still only saw that one teaser trailer from back in November of 2018. Apparently this movie is still happening, but something tells me it earns the spot of the title most...

News Disney Sets Sights on Possible Hollywood Land Reimagining at Disney California Adventure

Interesting to finally hear about this - personally I feel like whatever does replace this land - even if it is less substantial than the other additions to DCA , like Cars Land and Avengers Campus, will still be significantly better than what's there today.

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

There are many guests who eat Kosher that visit the parks - often reaching thousands during certain periods of the year. I think what it comes down to is lack of interest in the logistics of doing this year-round, and the lack of projected profitability in certain downtimes the year (since this...

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

This has been a problem for a long time, and there's no indication of Disney making any changes to it, which remains frustrating for so many guests. Disney has stepped up their game in food and dining, yet these embarrassing excuses for 'food' - microwaved meals made months earlier- are pretty...
