    Disney's Barber Shop Expectations

Ah so fun colours for kids! I was sure I wasn't going crazy. I wonder if they would do it for a teen though. My sis does love a little colour in her hair so maybe even if you can't I'm sure she'll like it either way :joyfull:

    Disney's Barber Shop Expectations

So I want to book an appointment for my sister and myself but I'm not really too sure how it all works. First off do they just trim your hair and give it some color? By the looks of the pics I found that seems to be the case but would they do that with dark red hair? I just rather not waste...

    Thumper meet and greet?

Can you still meet Thumper at AK or has that changed? I just got wind of the possibility of going Orlando next year and since I haven't been since 2009 a lot sure has changed. He's my favourite character too. ;)

Newbies to Orlando Choose These Parks...

Each to their own in the end but I am surprised out of the Disney Parks they don't choose DHS over the others or even if you could Busch Gardens.

    I HATED Manta

I kinda had that feeling too. Granted I was much younger but I could'couldn't breath at one point on the ride. I don't know what really caused it either since I had been other a ride like this called Air in Alton Towers and it was fantastic!:joyfull:

Typhoon Lagoon and the Wave Pool Floor

I don't recall it being made of sand but who knows it's been ages since I went I just remember it being very rough but sturdy.

Typhoon Lagoon and the Wave Pool Floor

That's very true I guess it is one over the other I guess it's if you are not aware of it and have sensitive feet like myself it can hurt. I'm probably too used to other water parks with softer flooring for their wave pools.

    Barefoot at Disney

I couldn't even go barefoot in a water park let alone a theme park when it's extremely busy. I recommend taking two sets of shoes. One to keep your feet comfy when walking around and another for when they get a bit sweaty like flip flops. :)

Typhoon Lagoon and the Wave Pool Floor

Ouch that sound painful... Did you not say anything to any cast members or did you let it slide?

Where do you think they could use Frozen in the parks?

Maybe they will make a Frozen theme castle in New Fantasyland? Failing that I agree with lunchbox1175. Blizzard Beach would make a hilarious spot to meet and greet. :joyfull:

Typhoon Lagoon and the Wave Pool Floor

So I haven't been to Disney World since 2009 but I was browsing through some old photos and came across Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool. Memories of the floor in the wave pool ripping my water shoes on the sides and getting some cuts and scratches on my feet. I remember standing right where the wave...
