Fastpass+, a solution to "overwhelmingly negative" responses from families

.... And when (not if!) the Wi-Fi doesn't work and we HAVE to use the cell signal - those of us from abroad will be absolutely smacked for roaming charges at an eye-watering rate.

Fastpass+, a solution to "overwhelmingly negative" responses from families

PatV35 - it's already like that! Lost count of the number of times this week I've watched people almost walk into lamp-posts, trees, fences etc because they are so busy on their phones. I'm only 38, but must be a real dinosaur as I adore completely ignoring my phone for the entire holiday...

    Resort Mugs

With the resort mugs, are you meant to buy new ones each time or can u bring your old ones in to refill at the drinks counters?

    Bags 'n stuff

My point is that I've noticed a trend whereby over the last few years, far more stuff is being taken into the parks. So, what's changed?

    Bags 'n stuff

Britt - I refer you to my second reply.... Keep reading..... You know you can do it! Nemo14 - it's called an observation. How does reading these forums effect you? They don't, you're just interested - like the rest of us.

    Bags 'n stuff

Oooo - should have said that with young families, it's kinda obvious - and as Universal doesn't cater for the young'uns in quite the same way, the family demograph doesn't really count. I really meant the people without the teenies!

    Bags 'n stuff

I can't help noticing that over the last few years of visiting WDW people seem to be bringing more and more stuff into the parks with them. Due to Universal's 'no bags on rides' policy, they seem to be immune from this trend. Now don't even get me started on 10 year olds in strollers etc etc...

    Easter 2013 park phase closings

I know I'm one of them, but this week WDW and Universal are being hit hard by the Brits as every school and university in UK is on holiday for 2 weeks.

Carousel of Progress has a Fastpass sign up.

-actually - was in Tomorrowland yesterday and the line for CoP was huge! Stood there drinking a coffee watching full audiences stream out and tons more people join the line! (..... It was a way to pass the time before a Space Mountain FP!!).

    Easter 2013 park phase closings

Hey ToddLee - yep, this weekend - actually we're still here (us annoying British people who all get 2 weeks school vacation around Easter!). Yes the parks are busy with people (mostly bickering with each other!), but most seem to be standing around complaining about how busy it is and not...

Fastpass+, a solution to "overwhelmingly negative" responses from families

I think it's important to remember that every second you spend in line is a second you aren't in a shop spending money. FP isn't about 'guest experience', it's about WDW income from sales. Universal doesn't have anywhere near the same income stream from stores and therefore to make up the...

    Easter 2013 park phase closings

I'm confused! (Common occurrence!). We've been here over the Easter weekend - saw fireworks from perfect place in front of castle, fantasmic at the 8:30 showing and RoE from Canada (always only arriving about 5 mins before first bang), have gotten on every ride several times (using FP when...

    Duffy outfits

Publicity material suggests many outfits for Duffy - especially from Epcot - but we can never find any more other than the standard few. Any ideas why the lack of publicised costumes?
