    holiday decorations

I would also like to know when the Halloween decorations will be taken down. I will be arriving on Nov.2nd, so I'm sure that's too early for the Christmas decorations. I'm hoping that the Halloween decorations will be down as Halloween is one of my least favorite holidays. Any help out there...

    Breakfast ideas needed

If you're a Pooh and friends fan, try the Crystal Palace character breakfast. The atmosphere is really great there. And who can resist Eeyore and those ears!!

Adventure Land Opening at 10 a.m.

Re: Adventureland The breezeway connecting Adventureland to Frontierland will be open, so you will have to go this way to get to Frontierland rather than walking through Adventureland. I guess this is the price we pay to have shorter lines in the off-season. I think I would rather deal...

Any news on room only discounts?

I too am hoping that some kind of room only rate appears sometime soon. We are going to WDW in early November. I check mousesavers.com frequently, and have read an article posted there concerning room only discounts. Evidently Disney is trying to get away from offering room only discounts and...

    Taking the dog to WDW...

I don't know where you are planning to stay on Disney property, but keep in mind that Fort Wilderness allows dogs. We have stayed in the campground of Fort Wilderness in a camper and took the dog along. Sure, we had to go back in the afternoon in order to let her out, but it was always at a...

I did it I booked the Swan !!

I stayed at the Swan about 7 years ago. It was nice then, and I've heard that they've since renovated the rooms so I'm sure it's looking even better. By staying in the Swan or Dolphin, you get all of the same perks as though you were staying at a WDW resort. You will get early entrance and...

    big thunder rehad

Check the Parks & More FAQs on disneyworld.com. It states, and I quote, "Big Thunder Mountain will be closed for refurbishment August 25, 2003 - November 21, 2003". Very unfortunate considering I will be there in early November. :( But, that just gives me a reason to go back early next year. :D

    Aunt Polly's

Does anyone know if Aunt Polly's in MK would be a good place to go for lunch? I've read some menus online that say only desserts are served there, and I've read others that say lunch is served. Anyone been there who can help?? :veryconfu Also, is Tom Sawyer's Island seasonal? I'll be...

    Discovery River Boats

Don't worry, you didn't miss anything. I remember waiting in a long line for the boat ride and it went like 1 mile an hour. The worst thing is that there was nothing to see except trees, and the ride seemed to go on forever. Very boring. Good move on Disney's part for closing it. :snore:
