I think you made a wise decision. I was in Epcot last week for one day. Left very disappointed. I hope to return to Magic Kingdom one day. Maybe in about a year for Christmas hopefully. But if things don’t change I won’t be going. That one day What is a reality check.
I appreciate your opinion but StarWars is not for everyone. Mostly a man thing though I know women who are fans. I dated a Star Wars fan years ago and I was bored to death with his obsession. I hope he found a Star Wars bride.
I have to agree. It is my least favorite. The main thing is the layout. I cannot figure it out. I do love the authenticity of each country, the lion King Show, Yak and Yeti. I miss the Jingle Jungle parade at Christmas. We would make ressie at Yak and Yeti and get a table where we could watch...
As I got older, I realized how much I had missed by rushing around. Sometimes it is something little that I notice now. Like the efforts that went into WS. Each country sent people over to see the creation of their country in Epcot. Another is the atmosphere created to make one feel part of an...
New Orleans is a hospitality city. Visit us between November and April. The weather is nice during this period. NOLA and Orlando have the same heat problems. It is oppressive. That's why I vacation during the cooler months. New Orleans would make a great port city. MaryJaneP, what smells? When...
We drive from New Orleans. Ten to twelve hours, depending on how many pit stops we make. Not a bad ride. The anticipation is worth it. I would go more often if I had a ride. I think that Disney needs a Disney airline.
I take a kitchen trash bag when going to the parks. It comes in handy on the rides that you get wet on. I have one I use as a rain coat and one to put my cross body bag in to keep it dry. After the wet rides you can throw them away.
I went to Teppan Edo twice. Both times I wasn't thrilled. Shrimp were undercooked and our chef looked miserable. I have now banned eating at hibachi type restaurants. We did eat at the Japanese grill downstairs and it was better. I liked the Yak and Yeti and hated the Nine Dragons...
Handheld fans used for standing in lines. Those gel filled neck wraps that are activated with water. Oh! Cheap rain ponchos for wet rides. Don't forget ADR's and ticket packets. At Christmas we bring Disney hats.:xmas:
Agree, not worth the hassle. If you stay at a value resort one night, you can pack a change of clothes, toothbrush and paste in a tote bag. This way you do not have to dig in your luggage until you are in your desired resort. Enjoy your trip.
Does he like Halloween or Christmas? The MNSSHP in late Sept. And Nov. Is neat. I prefer Christmas. From the Monday after Thanksgiving until Dec. 22nd is the off season, and all of the parks are decorated for Christmas. There is a MVMCP for an additional fee. We like to catch the buses and...
Hi! To a N.O. Resident. I have been to WDW 14 times also. First trip to Disney was at age 50. I cannot get enough of WDW. We are trying for a trip Dec. 2011. First I have to get through a NOCCA and a Ben Franklin graduation. Grad gifts could prolong my Disney trip.
