I went to Teppan Edo twice. Both times I wasn't thrilled. Shrimp were undercooked and our chef looked miserable. I have now banned eating at hibachi type restaurants. We did eat at the Japanese grill downstairs and it was better. I liked the Yak and Yeti and hated the Nine Dragons.
Some of my fabrics in WDW are LeCellier, Mama Melrose, Kona in the Poly and for quick meals I like sunshine seasons food court. I think tahtnis the name of it. Try the resorts. They have nice Menus in the moderates and deluxe Resorts.

Thanks for your views, luckily I have never eaten anywhere similar is I can't compare it to anywhere else! It seems it's the luck of the draw how entertaining your chef is!

It will definitely be an experience!

Teppan Edo can, in all honesty be a hiliarious experience...Depending on who cooks your food. One time my wife and I went there and we had a chef who was pretty arrogant and cocky, but it was part of his act and he was hiliarious. He kept telling the chef cooking behind him how to cook and the other chef played along and kept calling him the Iron Chef. Everyone at the table was rolling in laughter at this guy and he completely hammed it up. He wasked everyone if they wanted to see a butterfly and he would fling butter at them.

It was one heck of a show.

But I only got the chef once and I have never seen him again. The past couple of times I got the same female chef, who did remember my family and me, but she did not have the "showmanship" of others.

Good food but pretty small portions. I would totally go there is you have never been there before.

The amount of food is not a problem for me, I mostly want to go there for the experience really, which it will be in any case! Thanks Jimmy.

Teppan is a must do for us. It is my hubby's favorite place now. Yes, it is a typical hibachi style restaurant, but we have never had a bad meal here, which makes it a winner in my book.

I had a wonderful time at Teppan Edo! My hibachi cook was fun and the food was very good! The only trouble is, we were seated with another couple and a family- the couple was very grumpy and didn't mind telling us that they didn't like sitting with us! The family, however, was a ton of fun and made up for it. We had a good conversation with them throughout the evening and shared trip stories. Overall a very positive experience, a good sized portion of food and an entertaining night.
