I posted this on our twitter feed: I don't often comment on current WDW events, but the parking fee complaints are coming in fast and furious. Checked WDW's Facebook page last night and the resort was a 5 star rating and had 26,000 1 star reviews. Today? 4.6 rating and 51,000 1 star ratings...

Its that and safety, there is no way anyone should be out on Sunday or Monday. The storm will ramp up mid-day Sunday into Monday morning. I'd expect the parks to be closed Tuesday as well, or limited parks, depending on when it pulls away and how much time they have to to start restoring things...

Agreed.. Tuesday is a best case estimate. I wouldn't be surprised of WDW isn't fully operating until Friday or later. The roads are choked now going one direction, all will be choked in the other direction. Logistics will play into this.Supply, fuel, workers, damage, utilities, etc... with that...

The current estimate are for 50% without power in the Orange/Osceola areas. Overall they expect 2.5 million locations w/out power. Major substations and delivery lines will certainly fail during this storm. Recovery will take sometime; honestly, I'll be surprised of WDW is up and running...
