Ah yes, the media sure know how to put the "pan" in pandemic. Due to an underlying health condition shared by DD and myself, the whole family was able to get H1N1 vaccines this week. If it is available to you, get the vaccine. If not, common sense and basic hygene are your best bets.

2 weeks/$1200 USD in travellers cheques/$1000 credit balance on AMEX/QS dining plan. Should be plenty. Do not like using debit cards abroad. T-Cheques convert to cash easily enough.

Been @ WDW during Pop Warner week in the past and - no problems. We're up and away to the parks early enough and stay out late enough for it not to be an issue. A group of cheerleaders in POP you say - that will make my 13 yr old happy. 39 days & counting!

42 days & counting! We were there same time 3 yrs ago and the only issue was lack of crowds. Bummer. Might be a bit busier this yr with free dining still in effect. Can't wait to get there!

From the resort hotels Mears works very well. However, you can also bus it to Downtown Disney and take a cab from there. But, baware of the dreaded gypsy cab!
