Anniversary Dinner - BOG, Citricos, Narcoossee's, or Cali Grill?

BOG, wouldnt have them cater my funeral. Yuck. Definitely Narcoosees would be my first choice. Just got back from Disney and went there for the first time. Amazing food. My wife and I went in Feb around Valentines Day a few years ago and went to Bluezoo and had a great dinner.

The current best burger at WDW ?

Big fan of the burgers at the Espn club at the Boardwalk. They have a Old Bavarian burger with sausage on it, sauerkraut which is so good.

Be Our Guest Lunch- Is it worth it?

Just got back from Disney and wanted to comment on BOG, first time there and we ate there for dinner. You are definitely paying for the themeing and the pagentry. Foodwise, worst meal of the trip, compared to Narcosies, Mama melrose, Italian restuarant in epcot, Spice Road, Raglan Road, Espn...

Wow love your trip report so far. Just got back from Disney yesterday, great trip. Congratulations on your engagement. So exciting. My wife and I celebrate 15 years in October. Also glad to hear we are fellow alumni. I graduated from Clarion in 1997! Have a lot of fond memories of Clarion...

    Rose And Crown Experiences?!?!?

Didn't have the potato and leek soup but noticed it on the menu and now my mouth is watering. Didn't even have any appetizers that night. Too many Black and Tans instead!

An adventure with the Deluxe Dining Plan

Wow, really interesting about the dining plan and having to put down the tip before the bill is rung up? I think this is a definite no-no for me on the dining plan and I don't think I would ever use it. I can understand that there are a lot of people in this world who don't know how to tip. I am...

    Rose And Crown Experiences?!?!?

I totally agree! We went to Le Cellier as well on this recent trip and it was just as tender at Rose and Crown even though it wasn't a filet like it was at Le Cellier. It was a great cut of meat!

    Rose And Crown Experiences?!?!?

Don't always go to Rose and Crown but decided to make go in June when we were down. Thought it was one of the best meals we had all week! Sat by the water, had a great waitress and the food was excellent. I had steak which I was expecting wouldn't be that good but it was great! I was very...

    Yuengling at WDW?

Yuengling, love the stuff! My favorite beer as being from Eastern Pennsylvania. Speaking on the Steelers and Western PA, it actually took Yuengling a while to get across the state as well. I had been drinking it for years but wasn't able to get it in Western PA until about 95-96 when I was in...

    D23 Move-In & Setup

Wow, I agree, 1-2 weeks sounds quite long. I have been to a few trade shows with my work and as large as they are, the convention centers usually have shows that size every week or every other week at the most. So usually 2-3 days is the max, I believe.

Food and Wine Nickel and Diming

Not sure if anyone else posted this yet (I didn't get time to read all the posts) but man, $8 is really not too bad when you are involved in a 45-minute presentation on what you are eating. Look at the NYC Food and Wine Festival or Miami F&W Festival. You can expect to pay from $25-$110 for...

    Les Chefs de France

Wow, some of these comments are shocking! Better food found at McDonald's? Not hardly! Every time we have been at Les Chefs, we have had an excellent meal. We were just there in June and the menu is extensive. A lot of different dishes for people who like different things and the portion sizes...

Which do you prefer and why: Bistro de Paris or Le Chefs de France?

When we went a month ago, we went to Les Chefs du France since there was four of us as well as my 2-year old DD. I think if it were me and my wife ourselves, I would go to Bistro de Paris. Can't tell you how it is though because I haven't been there.

    New AK VP Soon

I would be interested in hearing more on this as well. It would seem she took a demotion from the head of a theme park to the head of a hotel. Not sure how the structure works out though. Like someone said it could be lateral but it sure doesn't seem that way.

    Has anyone seen Remy?

Really? I thought the food was really good. I had the red snapper and it was delicious. And a lot of food! Two big pieces of fish. Two other people in our party had the beef short ribs which were very good too. I love the atmosphere of the restuarant too. It is a beautiful place.

    Has anyone seen Remy?

Hmm, maybe he wasn't out that time because when we were there two weeks ago, he was brought around to every table on a cart. You didn't have to actively look for him. It was cool though and a big hit with the kids!

    T-Rex...how is it doing?

We had skipped the apps but the alcoholic beverages were flowing. A couple of different kinds of beer on tap (including Yuengling) and a good selection of bottled beers too including Brooklyn Lager. They also had wine and mixed drinks as well.

    T-Rex...how is it doing?

Got back from WDW last week and we went to T-REX and didn't have ADRs. Put in our name and walk in about five minutes later! It was early though, only about 5:15. I thought the food was very good. Had the ribs and they were very tender. The theming of the restaurant is great and the meteor...

    Where to Eat at DTD?

Just came back from WDW last week and we went to T-REX one night and really enjoyed it. Great theming, large portions and the food was good. We went to Earl of Sandwich as well for lunch and it was excellent too. Great roast beef! The only bad meal we had was at Spoodles. Glad they are...
