Wow, that is very useful. I will wait and see how he responds to your PM before trying to call. Thank you. BTW, forget the concierge floor. Number one it is booked and number two it is 700 dollars a night! I am sure it is worth it, but I will stick to my garden view and walk if I have too! :)

I teach 6th grade and two days isn't bad at all. I have parents who pull their kids out for a month sometimes.:eek: That is tough! I think a week is about the max. that you could get away with. It is funny because I could never understand taking your child on vacation during the school year...

We are visiting Disney for the first time in Nov. and are staying at the GF in a garden view room. I was wondering which building at the GF would be the closest to the monorail? We have a two year old, so I wanted to try and be as close as possible! Thanks for any help!

Thank you for your response. I was feeling a bit apprehensive because rooms at the Contemp, Poly, and GF were hard to come by, but I was hoping it was due to the Food and Wine Festival.

Thank you so much for responding! We are staying at the Grand Floridian because that is the only resort that had an opening when we booked in July. I really wanted to have the monorail due to our two year old daughter. We are paying through the lungs (hehe) but I know it will be worth it!
