    Attendance at Typhoon Lagoon

We went twice a couple of weeks ago. First day (Saturday) was upper 70's and looked like rain, the place was deserted - a blast! Second day was Friday, mid 80's and sunny, packed to the gills - we left early. Moral of the story - go on a lousy day. Come to think of it, this applies at...

    Aunt Poly's to close!!!

We were there last week and the place was closed and seriously abandoned looking. I had read how it was a great place to get a snack, so took the kids over at lunchtime for food and playtime. Major disappointment. No notice that Aunt Polly's was closed and the raft guy seemed surprised that...

    Vegetarian dining at WDW

We are not vegetarian, but enjoy many vegetarian dishes. We were just at WDW and I checked out the menus at many of the restaurants and all the vegetarian dishes sounded awesome. Spoodles at the Boardwalk had a nice sounding eggplant dish. Beaches n Cream at the Beach Club had a good Veggie...

    Underrated/Overrated attractions?

We just got back from WDW after our 1st visit in years, so I saw many things for the first time on the recommendation of others. Overrated Fantasmic - was OK, but not worth the uncomfortable 1 1/2 hour wait, and my kids had trouble following the story. Dinosaur - was OK, but not as WOW...

    Trip report 3/8-15

Hi! We had a great trip and I'd just like to pass on a few details... We got to the Beach Club at 11 on Saturday and our room was ready (guess traffic really IS down at the resorts). We decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon instead of one of the main parks since we came from snow and cold. It...

    More Disney News

We are still going this Saturday for a whole week.:sohappy: I personally am not worried. But then, I spend my life happily floating down that great river "DeNile." Seriously. My husband has a conference to attend, which we are extending to a family vacation. I don't think any spot in the...

    wheres the best slide...and pool...

3 years ago we stayed at BW and went to the pool almost every day. The Keister Coaster was fun and twisty, but really pretty tame. The rest of the pool was very ordinary. We tried Storm-a-Long on our last day and it was so awesome, we are staying at the Beach Club next week just for that. We...

Has anybody been to WDW at age 4 and remembered it?

I just asked my 7 year old if he remembers anything from the trip we took when he was 4. He remembers more than I thought he would. His fav was Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. He remembers having a really great time, and that's what counts!

Pin Trading: What's it all about?

I have a pin trading question. I started a small pin collection last time we went to the World (1999- how last century!) and have been collecting from here and there ever since. It's a small, inexpensive sovenier from wherever we go. So my question is, does anyone do NON disney pin...

    Breakfast at Beach Club

Hi, I'm new here, but so glad I found this site! You all have answered so many of my questions before I have even posted, even ones I didn't know to ask! But here's a question I haven't seen yet. We (husband, 3 boys and I) are staying at Beach Club in March. Apart from one character...
