Attendance at Typhoon Lagoon

Hey guys, just wanted to know if anybody's been there lately and how packed was it. Want to see if we can get some clue as to what Blizzard Beach will be like once it reopens next week.:sohappy:

Right, here goes.................
At the moment WDW is only operating with one water resort, so take the total attendance for TL add a second water resort (BB) and divide the total by two :hammer:
.............Oh yeah, add a few more for a bit of seasonal variation and take a few away cos not as many people are visiting the parks as last year.

It is tough to judge about water park attendance with only one open. Right now, everyone is at TL so those numbers would be higher than what you would expect for BB and for TL once both are open.

Weather had a cool spell this past week as well. If it's cool, numbers will be smaller. The warmer weather will lead to a higher attendance.

Sports competitions going on at the time will increase crowds at the water parks as well.

Typhoon has reached Capacity a few times the past 2 weeks, namely on weekend days or on really gorgeous days. Once Blizzard re-opens, that will subcede for a few weeks, and then both will reach capacity daily during summer months.

We went twice a couple of weeks ago. First day (Saturday) was upper 70's and looked like rain, the place was deserted - a blast!
Second day was Friday, mid 80's and sunny, packed to the gills - we left early. Moral of the story - go on a lousy day.

Come to think of it, this applies at the parks as well! :lol:
