Using CPAP Machines in POFQ Rooms

No problem, glad I could help. Make sure you remember all the parts to your machine. :fork: In June, when we went, I forgot the cord to the machine! Thankfully, I have a wonderful neighbor who overnighted it to me. Bringing an extra power strip is a good thing to do when traveling. Most of...

should there be a waiting period for wheelchairs

I don't think it is a safety issue. However, my MIL who does not like to be the center of attention found it more comfortable to sit in a seat. It is hard to have people keep looking at you on your scooter. When she sat in the seat she didn't have to feel different and it was more...

should there be a waiting period for wheelchairs

Why not help spread the magic a little at Disney? Give people in ECV and wheelchairs a smile of encouragement! Many of these people already feel bad because they get many rude remarks and looks. They would love to be able to walk onto a ride or the bus. My wonderful MIL was treated badly by...

It's our first trip and I have a question

Sometimes the waterparks do get filled in the middle of the day. They usually open again. One suggestion I have for your first trip is to build in down time. If you run the entire time you will become overwhelmed. There are many attractions which allow you to cool off and relax. Make...

POP: Should I spend the extra cash to stay at a moderate?

I agree with some of the other posters. If you can go with the moderate do! I am a teacher and have kids (10& 12). I don't like all of the children running around at the POP. It drives me crazy. This is coming from someone who is around children all day everyday.

    Scooter questions

My family and I go every year and enjoy ourselves. This year we have decided to take my MIL and FIL with us. My MIL is not in the greatest of health but really wants to go. We have decided to rent a scooter for her because she can not walk or stand very long. Does anyone have any suggestions...

    What's the weather been like?

I am at Disney right now. We have been getting a lot of rain but it is suppose to get better next week. The rain has made the evenings plesant instead of so hot. The crowds are not bad right now because July is considered peak season and there are not any discounts.

    Which do you suggest?

We will be arriving at WDW on July 4th. Which park do you suggest going to to watch the best July 4th show? We know they will all be crowded but wondered which would be worth fighting crowds for. Thanks for any help you can give us.

    Free Internet? That simple?

I agree with checking your bill. Last summer we used the internet and we were charged two of the six days we were there. We called and they took it off. It was no big deal to get it taken off but I am glad that we checked.

What is the longest you've been stuck on a ride in WDW?

When I was a kid, my entire family was stuck in Small World for twenty minutes. My dad never liked going to Disney but took us because we enjoyed it. It was bad for us but pure torture for him!

    Advice on driving from Chicago

We have stayed at the new Hampton Inn & Suites in 2007 on the way down. Near some food and a Wal-Mart if memory serves correctly. Came in kind of handy to run to and get the last minute supplies we thought of on the way. Didn't have to worry once we got to WDW.

    Boardwalk Villas

We stayed there last July, and had an awesome time. The view of the Boardwalk, which was great. Being able to walk to both Epcot and Studios, a major plus. Didn't find any decent dining options at the villas, had breakfast in the room, and ate at the parks/other resorts the other meals. Bus...
