How Long Are The Decorations Up For?

Thanks, I was looking at that earlier today. I am sadly lacking in Disneyland experience, only went a handful of times when I was five years and yougner living in San Diego and once about eight months ago. Disney World is a different subject, this January will be I think my 20th trip there...

How Long Are The Decorations Up For?

Trying to find it on the Disney site is about as painful as being stabbed in the eye with a dead salmon. Ok, maybe not painful, but it definitely ain't helping. Trying to figure out how long they leave the decorations up, and keep things like the special Haunted Mansion and stuff going. I...

If You Could be a Disney Theme Park Character. . .

The best thing I saw and the charactor I would choose to play would be Jafar. He was at MGM Stuidios when I saw him and he was just totally hilarious. A key example was a kid came up to get an autograph and Jafar snatched the pad out of the kids hands, grabbed and pulled him close, then...

    What's Something You've Never Done?

There is very little in the parks that I have not done. A tradition my family had was to eat at different restaurants for every trip, so I have eaten at all the restaurants in the parks (Including all of the EPCOT pavilions) as well as pretty much most major restaurants at all the resorts...

    Weather at Christmas

Magic Kingdom, no choice. I can't remember the last time I was there for New Year's Eve, but if they do the fireworks like they do on the 4th of July, that's the only place to see them (And the other parks to my knowledge don't do anything nearly as spectacular as the Magic Kingdom)

    Weather at Christmas

Like mentioned above, it dpends on what the entire season is like. I have been there in shorts during the day as well as having to wear a winter coat and gloves cause the high was only in the 40's during the day. In 2000 when I went it got down into the 30's at night. I can't remember off...

Which is most important to you?

Phew, I just got repremanded for not reading the directions:p Service, Cleanliness, Rides. Without service, you won't have cleanliness, so I kind of lump those two together. In the end, it comes down to people that work there that enjoy working there and are proud of it.

    Old Epcot restaurant (?) question

I remember eating there when I was young, but the best memory I have of it is for the First-Aid station when my mom and I were first introduced to fire ants since we both had some bad reaction to being bitten for the first time.

Need info re: Pleasure Island Jazz Co.

Once you pay to get into Pleasure Island, you don't have to pay again to enter any of the clubs. It's kind of the point behind it to have one admission price. I've only been once, but it was a nice pretty relaxed atmosphere. Drinks are priced the same as everywhere else (I had a martini that...

Cool secrets/favorite things in Adventurer's Club?

I'll throw in my two cents I guess. I've only been once, but I got to sit in on a Mask Room "show" as well as the Library. Wenever I actually get back to WDW, I do plan on frequenting this club as I can see it would be a heck of a lot of fun with a group of friends (As well as alone) I do...

If you could change one show effect of Illuminations

I agree with the above, but the other thing I was shocked to find is that absolute sparing use of the lasers. The original Illuminations really showcased the lasers and made for an absolutely unique and incredible show.

First Night at WDW Alone - Suggestions?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you since I have only eaten there once. I guess I should have given it another chance, but oh well. So really in the end, I shouldn't have said anything:lol:

    Walt Disney World Trams

As someone that has collected a butt-ton of Disney audio files (In the end it will be 14 full audio CD's full, possibly more) and as mentioned above, I have never come across the tram spiels.

What makes you misty-eyed at WDW?

While there are many things that might make me emotional, the only thing that can actually get me no kidding misty-eyed is... And really only the finale. Even just listening to the music without the pictures will do that as well. And my mom can not stay dry druring Two Brothers either.

Old Spaceship Earth narrator versus new version?

You can find the entire old and new Spaceship Earth soundtracks, as well as the studio copy of Tommorrow's Child along with Studio copies of the background music for a few sections of the ride online in various places. I don't mind the new one, but I yearn to get in the ride and hear...

First Night at WDW Alone - Suggestions?

In my opinion, no. I've only eaten at a few "authentic" Cuban restaurants, two being in Key West which blew my socks off. Personally, the last time I was there alone, I went into The House Of Blues for a beer and a bowl of chowder and people watched a little.

What To Do When It Rains At Disney???

I refuse to wear a poncho in the park ever. If you are good, you can get around most of the parks indoors or under cover with relatively short amounts of time outside. Unless the skies have opened up and it is no kidding raining, I just walk like normal and laugh at the looks I get from people...

What are your top 10 things to do at WDW?

Trust me, it ain't camping in the normal sense of the word. When you have a 27 foot travel trailer with everything you need in it, and don't have to go out for every meal, have all the comforts you want of home, etc. Let's just say I may be spoiled, but it's the only way I ever want to visit...

What Are Your Top 10 Things To Do At WDW? #2

Again in no particular order 1.) Grab a couple of cookies and some milk while waiting on Main Street for the Electrical Light Parade, er, Spectromaggot. 2.) People watch (Especially at what footwear people choose to don for a theme park) 3.) Find the unbeaten paths. A couple at AK that...
