Thanks everyone for your replies, is there any hope that Disney will be offering free dining later this year, for everyone who's not in a WDW resort in nov-dec?

I'm from the Netherlands indeed, but I have moved to the US (still a citizen in NL though). I might want to check into this and see if I can get free dining if I book from Europe.

One of my colleague's mentioned that disney is giving away free dining if you book a disneyworld trip for aug/sep 07 by jan 1st. Does anyone have any info on this?

Thanks for all your answers guys. I bought the tickets yesterday. We are going for 7 days, but I bought 8 day passes with Park hopper and the water+fun option. It was only 6$ for 2 tickets and as I understood it you get 4 plusses with a 8 day ticket and only 3 with a 7 day.

Since we have never been to WDW before we were thinking we could spend the time off after a day in DAK to go see downtown disney or things like disney Quest. sigh... soooo many options.

Me and my wife (no kids yet) are going to WDW for the first time. We are staying for 7 days (at the pop century resort). Do you guys think it's advisable to get the park hopper or is the 35$ better spent on a extra nice dinner or souvenirs

I was looking at the ticketprices and I noticing the following: 7-day pass + park hopper + waterparks = $268 10-day pass +waterparks= $242 I was wondering if you are allowed to on the same day use two days of your ticket. For instance one to enter the Magic Kingdom and one to enter Animal...

The busy thing is why I advice to go on January :) One of the first times I was in DLPr in january it was so empty that after riding Big Thunder Mountain 3 times in a row in the cart withouth getting out I was asked to move back one cart because some other people wanted to right up front :D

We are driving the florida because there are some things we want to visit on our way. In total it's a 3500 mile trip, so I doubt we'll go again the month after :)

On this page I can read that test track will be closed the first two weeks of february. I was checking this on the disney website, and there it only shows the riverboat to be closed. Where did the psoter find this information? I am asking since we were planning a trip feb 4-9
