I called for all of my 180 advanced reservations this morning (whooo hooo!) and was told that the Hoop Dee Doo would be closed for refurbishment September 4 - October 24. It was pretty much a bummer, since we wanted to go on Sept. 25th. I hope this helps in your planning!

Any one know what desserts are available at San Angel Inn? The menus on the boards are vague, just says "dessert tray". Not a fan of the flan... hoping for something more like fried ice-cream. I know it's such an American-ized dessert, but I'm hoping! Any one know?
