    New to DAS..

Thank you all! It's hard to predict the progression of the disease so I am not sure what challenges I will have. While I hope none, the planning part of my personality needs to plan for all, and it is very difficult not knowing or even imagining the changes ahead of me. I am the third...

    New to DAS..

Hello, I recently was diagnosed with ALS. We have a trip scheduled for June. Barring a miracle or inclusion in a research study this may be my last visit. I hope to still be ambulatory but lines maybe a problem. I've never used or asked for a DAS. Can you all tell me how it works? Thank you!

Describe your first trip to WDW. How old were you? What year was it?

What a fun thread! It was spring 1977. When we got off the plane, the steps were brought to the plane and you had to walk into the airport from the tarmac. You needed tickets to ride the attractions at Magic Kingdom and I remember my mom's S/O, who was funding the trip, being frustrated with...

Trip Report The (second) ONE with enhanced cleaning and (a little less) Physical Distancing. Sept 2020

I liked your Poly pictures (and Peter Pan, one of my favorite cues). We last stayed at Poly pre-DVC around...2005 or 2006. It was a fantastic trip in my opinion and we loved the room. In my 3 year old daughters opinion (it was a 7 day Poly trip with a 3 day DCL cruise at the end) it was too...

Welp, returned to work so getting caught up again! It's nice to have some semblance of 'normal' while it's still abnormal. For the uninitiated, here is how Mission Space works (Orange)... "The attraction is a multiple-arm centrifuge that achieves the illusion of acceleration by spinning and...

I agree with everyone! Your SSE pictures are amazing. I thought it was a refurbishment but they are replacing it???? Now I'm bummed. I did Mission: Space for the first time in 2019...the orange side I think, the less intense one. It wasn't bad and I would do it again. I said Art Smith's...

Catching up on your trip report this afternoon. 1. Still enjoying your pictures! They are amazing. 2. I've been a RN for over 25 years so give Alex time. She'll mature in her practice and become less of a 'push over' as a person. Trust me, dealing with some of the doctor's out there, you...

Your ride pictures intrigued me so I went to Youtube and 'rode the ride'. I guess I'll have to wait until I can actually ride it, probably next June, but via Youtube I was not impressed. I loved The Great Movie Ride. Cindy

You're spoiler is awesome, best pictures I've seen yet! Biggest regret is we didn't get to see all this in July. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan, I take one for the team every Star Wars movie, but I am looking forward to the Star Wars Land for the entertainment value of the rides.

Trip Report Making Lemonade out of Lemons Fractal Family Trip Report - Completed

I just found your trip report and I'm loving it! We were at WDW July 3-8, just before the parks opened, and it was D.U.L.L. We had DVC points to use or lose and I'm not on board with ever losing them. As I told everyone who asked back here at home all there was do to was shop, eat, and drink...

    Some random DVC opening thoughts

So, just thinking after all the news today. We have a DVC reservation July 3-8, which we modified from the original so we are only there a few days and not losing any points. Now random thoughts: 1. Will transportation be open or will we have to drive? Not sure how that would look because...
