we have always done the week before labor day weekend in august (my daughter goes back to school mid week before labor day), if you go in august I recommend going towards the end as far as you can, not only do resort prices take a good price drop but so do crowds.

We are going to Disney January 7th-13th. this is the first weekend in January we will be getting there on sunday. I have heard that Disney Christmas decorations are left up till this weekend. Is it possible they will be up on sunday still? we would love to see some at the magic kingdom.

In my experience they sometimes have an overlap, if you go to mousesavers.com they have a list of all past discounts and release dates. but it could really be before or after, hopefully next week by the absolute latest.
