EPCOT Is anyone actually excited about Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind or is it just me?

As it replaces UoE, an oil based energy pavilion, the only way I found that GotG fits in is when I realized that Groot is wood, wood burns and produces heat, heat can make steam, steam can power turbines which make electricity, electricity can power electric cars like the ones at TT. So, the...

DHS Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line and Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

The entire boarding group process seems to be failing miserably. Having to be in the park before it opens so you can grab a group that may not ride at all is the dumbest process ever. If they want to keep pushing FP+ through the rest of the parks, then do so and apply it to this attraction as...

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Lease it out to PGS Superstores or Golf Galaxy and turn it into a revenue generator. All the common folk think it's a big golf ball anyway! :D:rolleyes:

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

You're 100% right, about process but the big issue is that the product development cycle is NOT what it once was, nor is the intended life time of said products.

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Unfortunately, if you look at technology now, the agile development cycle used by manufacturers that supports the rapid deployment of ever changing tech that so many consumers & Wall Street investors demand, has turned our real world into E.P.C.O.T. Products used to be tested fully and built to...

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

True. It's a trade off. The space between the buildings were not helped by the tarps, the heat got trapped and was dependant on the breeze direction, and nothing but concrete was aweful. Trees & planted areas, if done right ( ) would be welcome and incrementally better. As for storms...

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Oh sure, traffic was a nightmare, but some of what they presented was interesting. Short lifespan on museum-like technology presentations makes that a costly venture as well and not practical, even for Disney. Glad to see it go, though it was enjoyable (on low traffic days).

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Already looks so much better. Innoventions was cool in the day, but overall that narrow dutch over spine and the weird way a massive gray building broke up the flow between East & West was not appealing to me. Looking at the 1/2 removal so far creates such a vast open space and makes it look so...

EPCOT Epcot construction as of December 2020

Sarcasm or serious? I know Dis has been dragging their feet on some () projects, but this seems like it should be a late 2021 / early 2022 effort.

News MuppetVision 3D closing for refurbishment later this month

It's next to Star Wars, so perhaps a little competition with a "Pigs In Space" show would work. Of course, they'll never do that. Refurb or "Writing on the Wall"....only time will tell.

    EPCOT Fiber optic sidewalk

They can easilly tie in a MagicBand reader to turn on the fiber when you walk across it, assuming you pay the $25 "experience charge". Of course if they upgrade it, you could set your lighting preferences in your band profile. But I'm sure that'd push the pricing to $49.

News Beatrix coming to Disney Springs

Makes me wish I was there to grab a drink, pull up a lawn chair, and watch the joyous occasion! Asta la vista, Bongos.

EPCOT New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

How long has that space been there and they just decided to use it, well for anything, but it does make a great security area.

News WDW Food and Beverage Price Increases 10/1/2019

Indeed! Watch how they magically siphon the money from your bank account through our frivolous use of the magic bands! It's just like Vegas now. No clocks, no windows, and gaming payouts are tokenized chips or paper receipts so you don't put as much concern toward the money it represents.

EPCOT Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

For clarification to those who hadn't seen the posts, it was not a "space themed" restaurant (just decorations and such), but themed to be a restaurant in space (in orbit 220 miles up). You don't walk into the restaurant, but were supposed to enter a lobby, then take a "Space Elevator" up to the...

EPCOT New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

A simpler and almost instantly available solution for the entrance would be to use the projectors and throw something cool on SSE. Putting a Jack O Lantern, Jack Skellington, Harvest Moon, Madam Leotta, or other fun seasonal animations up there would certainly be distracting of the walls. In...
