    Parking trams with new doors

Saw the tram the other day when i picked up the hubby from work, i was actually pretty impressed but am interested in seeing how it is going to affect the operation of the trams as it will affect me directly. FYI if the roll out plan is still the same as it was when I was training Hollywood...

And I tought September was THE month to visit (also trip report)

Wierd you seem to be having this experience, i've been in and out of the parks for the last 2 weeks, plus working at the TTC and I have seen how quiet it is. I have been in the parks these two weeks of september for the last 4 years and it is alot quieter this year than the last 3 years. Enjoy...

Princess 1/2 Marathon & ESPN Weekend

Hollywood Studios will draw a larger than normal crowd on ESPN days, however the marathon is actually held early in the morning and is more of an issue of road closures in the morning, so your commute to the parks my take a little longer. If I remember rightly from this year the marathon went...

    Magic Kingdom new toll booths

believe it or not, the auto plaza workers are totally different from those of us on the trams, we even belong to different unions! There is a few people who are cross trained but overall the auto plaza cast rarely meets the tram cast.

Disney World unfairly slammed for wages.

Actually the lowest non tipped starting wage at the moment is $7.45ph (Merch, Parking.) Which is about 20 cents over the min wage. Both universal and seaworld pay bare min wage for many roles, so I feel that disney has been unfairly targeted in the article. I currently have to live on this...

    Tell me about Fantasmic!

This ending only happens when they have issues with the boat or the boats in rehab and it is very rare. Also less characters appear on the stage when they do this than do when they use the boat.

    Parking & re-entering

Your parking ticket is valid for that whole day at all four disney theme parks. just show it at the auto plaza each time you head in. Bear in mind though if you return to the same park later on you will almost definetly be parking in a different spot, so be extra sure to note were your parked...

    Getting a seat for Fantasmic!

Having worked fantasmic on a number of occasions recently, you need to be thinking about getting in line 70 - 90 min before the first showing of fantasmic. I wouldn't be suprised if they add a second show at 10.30pm. If they do add the second show, don't bother going to the first showing, just...

    Rock and RollerCoaster History Question

they do sometimes have a CM in there doing the backstage pass speil you are talking of, but it depends on staffing levels for the day. (for example each attraction has positions which are always manned and other which are manned if they have the staffing.)

Fantasmic this Friday night - May 21st

Avoid the 9pm show at all costs, every time I have picked up extra hours there recently it has filled pretty quickly and you have to be there at least an hour early to get a decent seat. With the 10.30pm show you can pretty much get in line 30 min before and be able to get a seat.
