    Dark Rides?

I hope it qualifies, but Splash Mountain, has been my favorite for a while now. I have mentioned a dark ride I would like to see would be a Disney only, version of GMR. You would go through the ride, through different scenes from Disney movies. Heigh Ho from Snow White, Step in Time from...

    Before the Fast Pass era...

I think you are right. It can be fun sometimes. I had a long wait for BTM in 1998 with my sons. A gentleman just a spot or two in front of us was doing magic tricks. He wasn't a cast member, he was just doing a number of slight of hand tricks over and over. He was very good and everybody got a...

    "Back in My Day"

I actually have great affection for Mr. Smee. I just think currently he looks closest to the Mr. Smee we see in the Peter Pan movie.

    "Back in My Day"

This may be just me, but does it seem as if there are characters in the parks more often, but not a much of a variety. As previously noted the Big Bad Wolf and The Three Pigs used to be around a lot, many of the Villans were out and about. Mickey and Pooh are everywhere, but how about Captain Hook.

I can understand that also. There should be a way to make room for the kids. People who have kids on their shoulders should understand they do not need to be up front.

    Top 10 WDW Guest Failures

You are obviously not a child between the ages of 3 and 8 years old. Some of them think they are getting the signature of the actual character. To them this is special.

    Top 10 WDW Guest Failures

The only comments on these lists I disagree with are the several complaining about kids on their parents shoulders. I feel the parks are more about the kids than the adults and deserve the best seats in the house, wether that be up front for a parade or up high for the fireworks. Other than that...

    "Back in My Day"

Back in my day, Winnie the Pooh had a really big head with a "Hunny" pot on top. Mr. Smee was little creepy. It was fun to interact with the villans.

Thank you for the additional description. (Still no cannonballs, True?)

    "Back in My Day"

Yet, involved you did get. This is propaganda. It enhances the smoke and mirror effects used. There are not and never have been actual cannonballs being fired, rubber or otherwise. Think of this from a logical standpoint. What do you think would be the liability to WDW if a cannon misfired and...

Can kids ever be too young for Disney?

If it is for a build-up to go to the WDW, I would recommend The Adventures of Winne the Pooh(classic) and Toy Story(pixar). It is more likely that you will run into these characters and she will have seen them and they will be a little more familiar.

    "Back in My Day"

Sorry, obviously you had spots in your eyes from staring at the sun. There were no cannon balls, rubber or otherwise. As for Norway, I confirmed that yes, the ride did come out of the building before. Read carefully before you flame.
