Sunshine Seasons can't get past smell!

In 4 years of visiting Disney we just can't bring ourselves to eat here and it's the smell! It smells like a nurshing home or something in there. We read posts about how good the food is, but just doesn't seem appealing. Anyone else struggle with this or even notice?

    Early EMH Gameplan

We've never attended morning EMH before and planning to on our upcoming trip June 5th. So when we arrive we of course will hit every big attraction we can in that hour. Question is, what is your game plan for regular park opening. Do you position yourself for the next ride you want to hit or...

What Extra Magic Hours are you?

The only EEMH we do is MK. It's a MUST do every trip! The kids are troopers, 1st year we went DD was 6 DS was 7, now 9 and 10. They LOVE it and so do we. There's nothing like MK at 2am. Splash 3 times in a row without getting off!! We always head to Fantasy land about the last 45 mins and...

    Breakfast suggestion

My vote goes to 1900 park fare too! The character's are great, the food was very good. Love the omlet station, they make them fresh with any fixing you can imagine! We like to get in the protein and then go for the sweet stuff and carbs...lol We did Crystal Palace last year and while the...

Is POFQ geared more towards adults?

We stayed there the year before last and our kids were 8 and 9. We all loved it, the grounds are gorgeous. In the evening the horse and carriage are out. We never rode but was neat to watch and hear the clippty clopp of the horse on the cobblestone walkway. Not something we see everyday...

Why do people love Downtown Disney?

For us the biggest draw hands down is Wolfgangs, we will eat there at least twice during our trip. 2nd draw is Lego store, my DS 10 loves it because there's sets you can't find at home. Also, it's just cool to see all the figures and take pic's with them. 3rd draw is Goofy's Candy Company...

    Your First Day?

We usually arrive between 11am and 2pm. We check-in and head out to either AK or Epcot. We take it easy with no touring plan in mind. We go clockwise in order of the park and ride what we can ride. If we can still get fastpasses we do, if not we move on to the next. We always allot 2 days...

Water Parks & More Option without Park Hopper Question

We are headed down for 10days in June with WPMFPackage and no PH also. This will be our 4th trip and we find that by not having the park hopper it's like forced down time. The first 2 years we had PH and it's like we never stopped because there was always somewhere else to go. We have 1 FULL...

Quiet day outside of the parks

We always do an off day right in the middle of our trip. We sleep in as long as possible then go down to the cafeterian and get breakfast and look around the gift shop etc. Then we go for a swim, take a nap, whatever we want. For dinner we go to DTD for Wolfgang's and cookies at Goofy's candy...

    Counter Service Outside of Parks

Outside off our home resort Pop Century which is very good, DTD hands down is Wolfgang Puck Express. We've eaten just about everything on the menu and you just can't go wrong! It is the best in ALL of Disney. Earl of Sandwich is very good too. They are both must do's every trip for us. I've...

    Breakfast at your Resort Hotel?

We drive so we bring a whole laundry basket full of things for breakfast. The only day we eat in the foodcourt for breakfast is on our DO NOTHING DAY. This is always the day after MK PM EMH. We stay until park close and stop in at the bakery for a 2am or 3am snack while people are busy...

    Secrets of Trip Planning!

The fist thing I do is go to touringplans.com and look at the crowd calendar and see the projected crowds for the upcoming year to see which week we want to be there. For instance, we've been the last 3 spring breaks in a row and had the time of our lives. When I looked at the crowd calendar...

    10 Days - Too Long?

We will be there for our longest trip yet June 5th thru 15th. We are so excited!! Also we are doing just the QS dining plan this year so we have no reservations or commitments. Only thing on the agenda is to be at the parks for the opening then just go where the wind blows us!! That's what...
