    Chase Card and FICO Scores

My FICO isn't great, and I got rejected for the card, despite a fairly good income. However, they also let me know the problems - delinquent account (which I comepltely forgot about and I'm paying off this week) and small ammount of time with revolving credit. I just got a secured Visa through...

AP Room Discounts for Oct, Nov, Dec!!!!!

When I call and speak with a cast member at reservations, how should I ask about the passholder rates? Every time I've called and asked the person on the other end tells me there aren't any discounts - yet when I go online, I can get discounts for the same time frame.:veryconfu Maybe I've...

    Character Survey

Favorite character to see: I was going to go with Stitch, since he's my favorite - but I just remembered how much of an idiot I act like when I see Donald. It's like I regress 20 years. :) Scariest character: For me the scariest character is that clown thing JoJo at Disney Studios. I'm terrified...

    Behold... The Figaro Fries!

Amen to that. You must be from New England. :) The only thing I'll put on my fries other than the aforementioned vinegar and salt, if I'm feeling crazy, is some cheddar. I'm so boring.

So out of curiousity on your trip where have you booked for breakfast, lunch , etc.?

We're staying a weekend in September and I just realized I haven't made reservations! :hammer: Thanks for posting the topic - I'm going to take care of it right now. :)

Contemporary DVC is coming - demo starts Oct 1st

I don't particularly want this building to be 15 stories - that seems a bit excessive. I can say this, though - unless they announce that there will be DVC to the Polynesian in the next year and a half, this will be where the wife and I finally take the plunge and buy into the program. We love...

I'm surprised Orlando has never become a theatre destination

Simply put, we're a theme park destination, not necessarily a theater going hop. However, with the proposed changes goign through city council (which have been approved, I believe) to update the TD Waterhouse Center, Citrus Bowl, and building a new theater to attract more long term...

long hair in the water parks

As a hairy backed man, I'm offended! Kidding, of course. In order to not make anyone elses experience at the parks unpleasant by my...ahem...lupine appearance, I wear a t-shirt. Sure, it's a bit warmer, but I'd rather everyone has fun and doesn't get bothered by my appearance. :)

    Florida/Orlando Commuter rail on Track

Living in Orlando, I can not wait for this to be built. I think this will free up a lot of the congestion problems we have around town. Is it relatively short? Sure - but Central Florida is relatively small. :) The fact that this will, eventually, extend from Volusia County to Kissimmee near...

long hair in the water parks

One big braid - I haven't had the patience to get a bunch of braids in my hair, maybe next time. :)

    MGM finally being dropped?

Are we sure that Disney is trying to drop ABC, when the network is on a tremendous upswing as far as ratings are concerned? Heck, their Sunday night offerings (Desperate Housewives, etc.) are arguably the most watched television today - and don't forget other big ABC hits like Lost, Boston...

long hair in the water parks

The easiest thing for me to do, was have my wife braid my ponytail and use two or three hair ties to keep it all together. It works pretty well (not 100%, that's for sure) but it's better than the alternative! :)

What is "Your Spot" in WDW?

Cave may not be the best term for the location, and Discovery Island may not be the right location - I typed quickly and didn't think my way through. :( It's at the backside of the Oasis, at the end of the bridge leading to Discovery Island. It's basically where some 'rock' forms a bit of an...

What is "Your Spot" in WDW?

I've got three spots: Outside of the Tambu lounge at the Polynesian Resort, listening to the live music and watching the fireworks through the glass. (As a backup, any hammock at the Poly is great too.) The cave on Discovery Island. It's the first place my wife and I sat down together at on...

    John Lasseter?

Personally, I don't know how much stock I put into that quote - seems to be very speculative. I can, however, see John being more interested in the development of DL and DCA, since those are the the home base of the Walt Disney Company. I do not see him ignoring the WDW Resort area, as it's...

    Halloweentown Ride or park area

It's a good idea for a horror area, especially considering the popularity of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" - now, that Halloweentown could be a great area for a park - a Tim Burton imagineered park area could be aces. :)

Your Top 10 Favorite Places to Eat

Here's mine - the wife and I try and go thrifty when we're there, so a lot of mine are counter service. 10. ABC Commissary 9. Casey's Corner 8. Any ice cream stand throughout the parks. :) 7. Electric Umbrella 6. Yakatori House 5. Rose & Crown 4. Any funnel cake stand throughout the parks. :)...

how many more days for you?

3 Days, 5 hours, 6 minutes. But then again, we try and be there every weekend - doesn't change the excitement of it all though. :) However, if we're going by my extended trip in december for my 5th anniversary - 149 days, 5 hours, 6 minutes
