We did a universal trip last sept and had one of the best vacations. It’s a much more relaxed atmosphere. Way less crowded and it was nice not to have to pre plan every second with fast passes and ADRs.

I agree..we are becoming more and more creative to justify going every year..used to do 8 days then it was 6..now we are doing mon-fri this year off site. The prices are getting out of hand. Universal is out here offering reasonable rates for rooms and has a “buy two days get 3 free” park...

It seems to be something new they offer, but I just priced out tickets for our date and undercover tourist was almost $100 cheaper total.

A question I have is the press release said Disney hotels and “other select resorts” but it doesn’t list the other included resort....at least not that I can find. Would anyone know which other hotels are included? We’re staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek In sept and I’m trying to plan 😁

Have they ever done the gift card offer before? I know they do with not using mousekeeping, but I’m not sure I’ve seen a offer where you get a gift card just for staying at a resort.

I've had good luck with 3 cheeky chicks wax Co. They have an Etsy shop as well as a regular webpage. I like their scents. I've tried magic candle company once this past summer. The scents were actually pretty spot on, but idk if it was because of the summer weather or what but my wax melts were...

Just from the rumors I've read on these forums I think 2022 is the goal for the third park? It seems the hold up is figuring out what to do with the Nintendo IP they aquired.

I definitely agree that universal must have a hard time filling their resorts during "slow periods" and unfortunately I can't see that changing until the inevitable third park is complete. I can also see an issue with the new value resort they are opening next year for $79/night. I imagine that...

I'm so confused as to why you think it's almost impossible to book a 5 night trip. I stayed at Cabana Bay Sept of this year..sunday-friday and booked the trip two weeks before we left. I know I didn't pay $112 a night. I believe it was closer to $125, but the resort wasn't anywhere near...

It's definitely $112 a night. As you can see from the screenshot that's Sept 15th-20th 2019. Don't know why you paid $200

$145 a night for Pop in mid Sept 2019?! $130 for All-Stars. The balls they have to charge that absurd amount..especially when Cabana Bay (a nicer version of Pop) at Universal is $112/night for the same week. They really are pushing folks out with prices like that.

Because I have nothing better to do, I have noticed the star rating for the wdw Facebook page keeps going down due to all the 1 star reviews about the parking fees. Maybe they'll give this scummy new policy a hard look if the social media outrage continues.
